The cost for parking was not included as it's owned/managed by another company, but it was reasonably priced, easy to pay, and under cover, so well worth it, IMO.

The beds were nice, very comfortable. The rooms are spacious (bigger than my first apartment in Eugene!). The bathroom was sparkling clean and spacious as well. The saltwater pool was just perfect! So relaxing and a great temperature. The breakfast was perfect - light but plenty to get my day going. The coffee packed a punch - lovely! And the dining area was clean and fresh, not crowded, but was able to accommodate a few dozen people comfortably when we were there. The staff were professional, very nice, and helpful. The price for the room was really reasonable, and the location was right downtown, so we were able to walk to dinner at a great BBQ place. The decor has never really been something I've noticed at a hotel before, but the little design touches were just very nice, like someone really cared about the details. The whole experience reminded us of modern hotels we've visited in Europe and the UK. I was really impressed! As a former UO student and lifelong visitor to Eugene, this was the most comfortable stay I've experienced in the 40 years since my first visit to this lovely little city. I've already recommended Home2 to friends & family.

Room service was abysmal - had to ask the front desk at 1600 for the first day of service; asked to confirm the second day of service 2 days later and was told it is on the schedule - it never occurred; had to find a cart in the hallway and take toilet paper off the cart because our room ran out

Unfortunately something happened around the hotel that caused the hotel to turn off the water, making getting ready in the morning difficult. The staff was apologetic but since I booked through you I may not be able to get a discount.

staff out of control

the front desk women were just about the worst I've ever experienced. place was going through a renovation, which wasn't stated online. when we showed up to check in the front desk women was really quick to just say that "well we can just cancel your stay!" so I said, "ok! that's fine " she was being super caddy about the whole situation. anyway, never going here, glad that we left when we did. The Hyatt up the street had an amazing staff ten out of ten.

Why am I filling this out again? I've filled out 2 different surveys on this property....the people were great and especially helpful for us walking w/canes....enjoyed the property, breakfast, nice size refrigerator, great heat-cold register, shower was nice & water strong; good room for shaving, etc, playing Scrabble...close to the activities we were attending at the Hult Center(Australian Pink Floyd); nice to have security esp since we had to park in the next lot after we got out of the concert....good snacks, etc,at the front desk, too. Ice machine was close, too, elevator worked great! Lots of outlets as we both use CPAP machines and I sleep w/a fan on, too.

The staff was very rude. Their system charged my son’s card, Wells Fargo confirmed (with her on the line with them) that the charge was legitimate, yet the front desk manager refused to honor that. She would not let my son check in saying that their system didn’t recognize the payment. She even asked me whether we booked through a scammer. I was many mikes away from my 18 freshman. I had to quickly send him more money so that he could charge his card again for the room fee. When I requested to speak to the general manager, she then reversed the charge that she couldn’t find and then charge him again for the room. What a scary experience this was for my son! We will NEVER use this hotel again.

The guests in the room above ours (310) stomped back and forth in the early morning and late at night. This occurred at least 4 of the 6 nights in the hotel. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep. I asked the housekeeper to clean the bathroom on day 3; it never happened. With a tip, it happened on day 4. No one cared about being pleasant or kind other than to each other.

Breakfast was good. The coffee inroom was good. The location suited our purpose. We were able to meet family in the lobby area.
