How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The dishwasher in my room was not clean. So, I didn't use it.
It was spacious, neat and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The facilities and amenities were clean and accessible.

Parking is available, but can be hard to find when the hotel is full. There is a surplus parking lot nearby.
The breakfast is delicious, and there are many options provided. The location is prime; walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

Wish there was different coffee choices on the brew.

I loved the location of this hotel…it was close to everything. The breakfast was not outstanding or anything, but definitely better than most hotels. It had a good number of options. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was so-so, nothing to write home about. The room had a ton of counter space, which was great, but it meant there was no room left for an actual separate table. Their workaround was to include a table on wheels which mostly fit under one of the counters. You could pull it out most of the way, but then you couldn't walk around it because of the bed. I as traveling solo so this wasn't an issue for me, but the room only had 1 chair to use at the table, and the only other thing that was high enough to use the table was the bed. There was a desk light on the counter the table was under, but because there were no outlets under the counter it wasn't plugged in. I really needed that light, so I ended up using my own extension cord.
The suite was incredible, and was about the same cost as a regular hotel room anywhere else in the area. Full size refrigerator, dishes, glassware, and silverware all came with the room, along with dish soap and a dishwasher. They also offer portable cooktops in case you need more than just the microwave for cooking. I loved the glass-enclosed shower - far better than the tubs in most other rooms. There was always really good coffee in three lobby area, also.

Breakfast could have been a lot better. No difference from a cheap hotel. Water pressure in bathroom shower was light. Didn’t have soap in shower dispenser
Felt very comfortable, checking in was quick and easy. Tv said welcome with my name on it. How dishes with pots, pans, utensils but no stove.

Breakfast ended at 9:30 a.m.; that's early. Please consider extending breakfast to brunch hours. I believe this will satisfy many of your travelers. I appreciate this opportunity to share my thoughts.
The breakfast provided more of a variety of foods than expected. For instance, the fresh fruits, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, cereal, eggs, and Belgium waffles were MORE than I expected. Breakfast certainly exceeded our expectations.

Considering a disabled senior heading for the perfectly designed room, the long corridor to reach the room seemed incongruous.
Enormous room with ocean view, bathroom perfect for disabled. Helpful breakfast staff, professional desk staff.

Everything was excellent, except there were a few candy wrappers and other small pieces of trash under the beds. The cabinet in the bathroom was broken where the pipes were should be covered underneath. But these were minor concerns. Very nice accommodations.
Breakfast was lovely. The room was spacious and beautiful. The grounds were beautiful, and it was a great location. Just a short walk to the beach and convention center. I love that it was pet friendly. The suite was very nice with everything I needed for a "homey" stay.

The hotel committed to having the room ready for a 10AM checkin. Upon arriving at 11:30 there was mot a room ready. We were told to check back after 12:30.
The policy of allowing pets was the deciding factor for us as we travel with our Yorkie. Hotels need to understand that this is a big consideration for many families.
