How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Bedroom was upstairs.
Hosts, was extremely nice, the people also their was nice as well. Location, was great, was able, to go to the grocery store, my favorite store, which is goodwill and just learn more about Dallas and the surrounding areas.

I think the only bad thing was that I was left outside for a while in the middle of the night, apparently they had technical problems with the door lock so I had to hit the door several times and very hard to get through (as instructed by the staff). But that's all.
The place is very close to the airport, the area looks safe. The girl who greeted me (I think she was part of the staff) was very friendly and always answered questions. I think there are two rooms with bunk beds, but I loved that they have bathrooms inside the room which made me feel more secure. The fact that they provide towels helped me a lot since I only traveled to the Linkin Park concert at Globe Life Field and I had nothing to pack other than a change of clothes. The beds were spacious and very comfortable. And above all there was silence and order. I love those kinds of places.

I had communication problems with the owner. I didn't received the entry code, the WiFi password nor indications of where to sleep by message and I had to call him on the phone. Anyway, he was really polite and helpful and we managed to solve the inconvenient
Close to the airport and to a Walmart. The price was really good and the bed comfortable even if it moves a lot ( I was in the upper bed). The place is clean and equipped with everything needed.

Would have preferred towels more readily available. The host did provide them though. That's the worst I could possibly say; & that wasn't bad.
Twin/full/queen bunk beds. Host was accommodating & helpful. Irving was a little far from my work, but I knew that when I booked. The price is unbelievable; definitely worth the money.

beds , not too bad , it 's just second bunk bed would shake whenever i would climb over to reach , which might be unpleasant to the roommate below me . other than that everything is good!

From the outset, as soon as you walk into the unit it is incredibly clean. The towels are folded neatly, and as a bonus they give you a wash cloth... Most hotels don't even provide such... the kitchen is immaculate, and the dishes are always clean. The management is very friendly and welcoming.

The place is not clean enough but not terrible, just ok. I didn't like that 2 guests arrived at 2 am , not caring about a sleeping roommate, talking to each other unpacking bags for about 1 hour.
The host was nice, the hostel is cosy and comfortable, my room and beds are comfortable with ensuite bathroom. there's coffee and coffee machine in the kitchen. Location was convenient for me, not far from the airport and behind the bus stop to downtown.

this is the second time--the first time was a hassle hustler --the second time with the same people --at least i got some rest and stay for the night . -----things went missing the first ---I was able to keep my things today. i even got the same sweater back to my home town . first I thought it was popular place --the second to try
I like to keep that to myself ---it is near the airport, which is a pointer.

The space for luggage is rather limited, and there's no place to secure it (besides having a locking suitcase). I didn't have a problem with this, but just something to consider when going in.
The hostel is cheap and very close to the airport, so if you're looking for a one-night stay before heading out, this would be perfect. Everything is clean, the beds were comfy, and I liked the owner a lot. Sadly, since I got there late, I didn't get much sense of the community, but the people I met were very nice. Overall great experience.
