How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Shower water wouldn’t get hot. It was cold on our stay and had to take a cold shower.

Location made it next to impossible to get to the property. Had to go through a parking lot then to a side street to access the location.
Breakfast was good. Everything was fresh and hot. Front desk clerk recommended a great nearby restaurant for our dinner. Not disappointed!

Clean comfortable bed. 4 good pillows per bed. Bathroom was clean and accessible. Management promptly addressed an issue with a loud guest next to our room.

when we arrived to check in at 3;00pm it took them forever to get us checked in took 45 minutes. we were tired and it was very aggravating. we asked about pets were told no pets. my husband is very asthmatic. so we said second floor if there were pets they are usually first floor. we find that there were two dogs and on second floor but were told if there were any service dogs they would be third and fourth floor. so I feel we were lied to.

When we arrived the toilet in the room leaked water when flushed.
The staff fixed the leaking toilet right away without any inconvenience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

The damage deposit and the toilet seat had to be held up to use it.

Phone was broke in the room, getting in and out of shower was scary - it seemed too high.
The staff was excellent!! Check in, support when I had issues, and even kind words at 3 am when I couldn't sleep!

There was an older lady at the desk when we arrived and she asked our guest “all of y’all not spending the night right? Because y’all can’t” it was very rude and if she had an issue she should’ve addressed mused and not MINORS.

The bathroom tub dripped after just 1 shower, I couldn't connect my phone's Bluetooth to the smart tv, the tv had no information on the guide, and there were small remnants of hair left in the bathroom sink. Lastly, the breakfast could have been better. The bacon was only pork without a turkey option, and the biscuits were tough.
The room is spacious and extremely comfortable

Our room had no hot water at all. We tried at different times throughout the day and messed with the settings, etc. We had to take cold showers, but our friends in a different room said their's was so scalding hot, they tried and then got out and their family skipped showers. Such a nice hotel but a usable shower is necessary.
It was clean. I like the half wall divider that was in between the bed and the pull out couch sort of separating the sleeping areas (but still let light through). I wish more hotels would do that. Staff was accommodating and kind. Breakfast didn't suck, I appreciate that.

I had a particular issue with my reservation that I needed addressed by a manager. I tried from 4:30 pm on Friday April 29 until Monday 5/2 at 8:am and there was NO manager on duty. I wrote a message for the manager on Friday via Booking.com link who stated the Hotel would be in contact with me within 48 hours. This did not happen except for a boiler plate welcome e-mail. Because of confusion when booking and credit card issues I needed to cancel and re-book my one night stay on May 1. Booking.com was willing to cancel but Comfort Inn clerk said only a manager could do this and there were NONE until Monday at 9 or 9:30 am. By that time we had checked out and it was a moot point. What kind of business has multiple Managers on staff but none working weekends?
The room was clean and quit large. A little stark for my taste but that's not an issue. The bedding was very nice. Refrigerator was nice and cold. Shower was good. Front desk staff were very helpful.
