How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Last night of the stay the sensors in the digital door key reader was need to b replaced. had to go up and down to get a replacement card which didn’t work either. staff arranged for the engineer to arrive and replace the batteries. had to wait in the entrance lobby for almost 45 minutes after a long day outside. staff was not apologetic nor asked a simple ‘ sorry for the inconvenience’

The room was very large and extremely comfortable. The bed was very nice, but the pillows were too thin for me. The next morning I asked the front desk if I could have more pillows and she replied," Feather or Foam?"... I was blown away! I never expected such service. The front desk constantly had one or more attendants who greeted you upon arrival each time, or told you have to great day/night when leaving!

The bed mattress and pillows were too soft. We're used to firm mattress.
Room was cleaned daily. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning our room and giving us clean towels daily.

- we had to ask for a change of sheets four times before it was done (this was a 10-day stay) - the floor was not swept and the table and window sills were not wiped - the headboard was worn out and stained
- professional and courteous front desk staff - the location - large room with an unusual layout and six windows, giving plenty of light - complimentary coffee, tea, fruits in The Corner all day long - complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water in room (+ fridge) - nice new toiletries every day - the beds were comfortable

The rooftop bar seemed to close early and was booked for a private party. Would have liked to enjoy the fire pits.

amenities are really scaled back. no restaurant, rooftop is tiny and closed all the time. coffee bar / breakfast area has extremely limited options. feels like a fast food place.

The service room could have been better. Our room was not cleaned (we stayed for 2 nights). We had to beg for extra towels (because we were 6 people, and they kept an average of 3 people towels) But overall, the experience was great!
The hotel room was amazing. We travelled with my in-laws and our family and we were able to fit 6 people comfortably in 1 room with two queen beds. The bathroom was HUGE! We had a great time. Location was excellent we walked to the main attractions with no problem.

The booking included breakfast but when we got there they informed us that they had no breakfast set up for the last two months or so which would have been nice to know as we had paid extra for breakfast to be included! When we mentioned it to the desk they gave us some vouchers for the near by cafe so really appreciated the customer service and theyre attempt to rectify the situation!
The rooms and staff were great, the gym and rooftop bar were also very nice. The location is excellent we walked everywhere!
