Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe common areas/lobby are very clean, but the room…eh. I could tell the bathroom counter had not been wiped clean (dried water spots) and there was a hair in the shower. It was just kind of a halfway clean job which just wasn’t a nice feeling. I actually worried about how clean the bedding was because of it. For the price and location, the competition is steep, and I feel like they should put a little more effort into the general upkeep and cleanliness.
The location was incredible and the view was spectacular. We asked for a high floor and were given the second to the top! loved it so much and it felt nice to have our request honored!! The staff was very nice and accommodating!

New ZealandBed was too soft. The house keeping would need improvement to met guests expectation. The coffee/creamer, body wash/shampoo/conditioners availability in the room need to meet standard. I had to ask the service desk everyday to request basic stuff that usually provide for every hotel rooms. These should be provided enough daily. There were some days we didn't get enough coffee cups, sugar, creamer. Additional, we sometimes gets 1 bottle of body wash/shampoo/conditioners. These definitely would not enough to accommodate 4 guests. Suggestion - The housekeepers should have a checklist how many guests stay to provide all above. I felt most of the staff just do their routine job without attitude to help and give other options. Some were a little bit impassion. Please bear in mind and I mentioned to them that this was my first visit to New York and I didn't reside in US. Other unsatisfied enquiry when I required an assistance a day before for a yellow cab to the airport early in the morning (around 6 am). The service desk just assigned me to the concierge officer (down stair) and did say that was not her job and she needs to cover herself (??). I was not sure and didn't understand why she mentioned it to me.
Location is great and in the heart of Times Square. Room size is great where that's why I chose Crowne Plaza Times Square. The concierge officer (down stair) was great with good attitude when we checked out and require a yellow cab to the airport. He initiated to help us and get the cab from the street.

United StatesRoom we initially walked into had a malfunctioning ac. It was blowing hot air. They sent a engineer to try & fix it but eventually moved us to another room where we found the filter for the AC the next morning was out on the floor for which they sent an engineer the second time to install it. Also one of the light fixture in the bathroom mirror was out (see image).

United StatesWe had an issue with the AC unit and the shower drain. The staff fixed in less than 15 minutes so it wasn't something to ruin the experience just a hiccup.
Location was great! We were in the center of everything. Staff were nicer than the common new Yorker was expected to be. The view of times square from the room at night was better than I could have imagined. Location made us very visible to all transit pickups and we were close to bus and subway circuits.

United StatesWhen I checked out of my room. I confirmed my room number multiple times with the front desk. I get my receipt as I am leaving for the airport I look at it. The front desk lady checked out the wrong room. I was room 3412 and the receipt said 3512. Honest mistakes happen, however, I have made multiple attempts to contact the front desk and the accounting/billing department. Nobody ever picks up the phone. We left a message and I sent an email and It has been 3 days and I have heard nothing.
