The hotel is a little far from downtown but we knew this when we booked. It was great for us as we are happy to walk long distances, but it may not be for everyone.

This place was amazing and I thoroughly recommend it. We stayed here for a short stop over whilst moving on to LA, but it was just right for us. Great people, great location.

The rooms are an outdated they need a remodel. But we’re clean. Maybe on a Friday night don’t close down the bar at 10 PM. We were visiting with a couple we had just met and the employee came and turned all the fires off. On a Friday night I would think you would keep it open for people to enjoy the pool and fire pit area, which is a great touch for that location.

Clean, quiet, convenient to everywhere. All rooms were large with a nice dressing area, and spacious bathroom. Loved the plank floors, vs carpeting. One of the 3 rooms had a patio which was a delightful place to hang out for all of us. The restaurant is a favorite of the locals as well as the guests.

Parking was very limited and the driving area was too narrow to go two directions safely with some drivers.

It was very niche and had a fun 1960’s vibe with the architecture. It was very well maintained and had beautiful landscaping. I loved how many rooms had courtyards off the back of the room. The on site restaurant is excellent.

Could not charge meals to room, furniture is a little worn. Did not realize my third night was over 400.00, would not have stayed that night had I known.

The tub looked a little dingy and we had a hard time with the tv remote. ( not sure if new batteries were needed to be changed)

We loved the room with balcony view to the pool. The location was great very close to everything plenty of parking. The room had a mini fridge which we were very happy about since we made use of it.

Walls were thinner than I prefer and I could hear my neighbors when they spoke loudly and stomping feet from upstairs unit.

Decent location. Away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to downtown SB (State Street) and just a short drive to UCSB. Bonus points- a nice park is a short drive away where me and the boy were able to get a bit of baseball practice in!

Restaurant expensive for breakfast. No 'free' coffee available in lobby. Parking on some days difficult to find near room entrance. Booked room for 3 people, towels for 2-was a room for 4; coffee cups for 2; inside coffee Keurig not clean-didn't use, disappointed not having coffee in the room. Didn't use the pool due to children splashing around.

Nice size room, comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Housekeeping staff helpful. Loved the bathroom set-up-sink in bathroom and in area outside bathroom. Loved the balcony with the room. Great garden area near pool.

Key didn't work the second day. Restaurant didn't open early enough for me to eat breakfast there (8 am).

It was a good location, convenient for UCSB. Nice pool and patio. Clean, comfortable rooms. Food at restaurant was good, a little pricey.

The rooms were clean but a little older. There were some maintenance things that needed to be completed. There wasn't anything that would prevent me from returning. We had a great trip.

The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant food was delicious and we really enjoyed the outside bar area in the evenings.
