When I booked the room I didn't notice that I booked the dependance which is a building on the main road and detached from the main building of the hotel. More than that, it looks more like a motel than a resort. I had to complain with the front desk and after one night they changed my room, but be careful not to take the dependance rooms. In general, I think the price is far too high for what they offer.

The place has a nice beach and gives you for free kayak, paddle board and life jacket. The breakfast could be better but it is ok.

The diner/restaurant was not up to the standard of the rooms. In need of a makeover and had a lingering stale odour. Such as shame.

Strong humid smell into the room and some sand on the room floor, bad sell from the beach -we were located on top of the kayak pier. We could hear the cars from the room.

Property was not maintained. Decks were splintering. Peeling paint in the bathroom. The room had an old water smell upon entering. Everything was minimal standard. Continental breakfast was average.

Bed was comfortable. 2 beach towels provided. There was a restaurant on premise which helped a lot because everything was 25-30 min driving distance. Staff was pleasant.

Negatives: • Uncomfortable Bed: Unfortunately, the bed in my room was exceedingly soft, resulting in a highly uncomfortable sleeping experience. • Unpleasant Odor and Mildew: Upon entering the room, an unwelcome odor permeated the air, indicating the presence of mildew. • Lackluster Breakfast: The breakfast offerings at this so-called "resort" left much to be desired. The available options were disappointingly limited, unless one was willing to pay an exorbitant price for a more substantial meal. • Misleading Resort Claims: Despite its claims as a resort, the hotel failed to live up to the standard definition of a resort experience. The amenities offered, such as a hot pool and complimentary use of kayaks, bikes, and paddleboards, felt more like basic features available at many other cheaper places. • Inconvenient Room Placement: As a guest who registered two hotel rooms, I was disappointed to find that they were located on different floors and were not adjacent to each other. This incongruity hindered the convenience and connectivity of our family stay.

Staff was rude from the first second on, interrupted us during our first sentence without knowing what we were going to ask. Elevator didn’t work, no one helped with the suitcases. The room was clean but still very dusty. The AC was moldy, after 12 hours with the AC on we were both coughing like crazy. And last but not least, they charged the credit card THREE TIMES for one night, including the security deposit even though the room was left behind in a proper manner.

the floors were very dirty which was a problem, our feet were black the water in the downstairs bathroom was not working properly even after u sent someone in to fix it there are no brooms or mops in the unit which was another issue the cleaning people showed up at 3:30 and we could not let them vacuum as the baby was sleeping so they left that should have been done earlier your older units need some work and I would not book again or advise anyone else to book there also had ants

The breakfast was just OK, nothing special, It was in the restaurant/bar next door. The resort is very close to the road and it was loud when sitting outside.

Thought on booking 3 bedroom villa they were free standing, our mistake, the adjoining villa had a party going until 2.00am on balcony next to main bedroom, with large number of people obviously too many for room. With them drinking whisky at 4.00pm problems were expected. Staff apologetic, but booking was very expensive so expected more. Second night was quiet as it was a Sunday. No floor mats for bathroom. No oven cooking dishes available, had to go and get them. Oven had surface rust, microwave had heavy rust at inside rear, dishwasher had rust and wouldn't work. Shame as rest of villa was nicely decorated.

Well appointed spacious villa, breakfast was ok, staff pleasant to deal with. On site restaurant was good.

property was okay. nothing like what you see online. we got the dockside view and it was a view of a nasty marsh that smelt horrible. definitely not what was in the pictures. the breakfast was horrible as well as the lunch and dinner served in the same bar and grill. property is way too overpriced for how far you have to travel just to have decent food or go have fun elsewhere. there is nothing to do at this resort expect swim, kayak or bicycle. We traveled 20 minutes just to eat 3 times a day. not impressed. staff was very rude at check in. we had a do not disturb sign on our door the entire week stay, about 2 days in we went to eat and came back to find the sign on our nightstand and someone as came to only make the bed. not even replenish towels or anything else. very aggravating. spend more money and go somewhere where you will actually have stuff to do without traveling.

The bath had only 1 place to hang anything, and that was towels on the back of the bathroom door. Nowhere for hand towels, nowhere for wash cloths in the shower. Smaller room than looks in depiction on web.

Convenient of restaurant and bar, but no indoor dining. View was just ok while sitting outside, stairs in the way. Ability to snorkel and swim in Florida Bay was nice. Kiacks good but not enough, limited.

Grounds were nice. Breakfast which we thought was included was continental only. Ordering off the menu was a cost we would not have had at other resorts. The elevator was not working which was a slight problem but I won’t hold that against them. I think the pool should be heated I think the beach should be raked as seaweed edges the beaches. Unfortunately our room reeked of urine from the moment we walked into it. It was very strong in the restroom & permeated throughout the whole room. It made us feel as if the floors & shower may not be cleaned. There were also some brown (makeup) looking stains on the towels and sheets. We had an ant infestation problem from the window by the kitchenette, so anything we left on that counter & the coffee maker were covered in ants after use. I think a blow dryer would be a nice addition to the rooms.

The location was amazing. The balcony off our room was beautiful and the highlight of our stay. The resort itself was beautiful. Great views & lots to enjoy.
