There was a mild smell of sulfur at times, probably from what was washing up on the beach.

The location was beautiful, and we enjoyed the free kayaks and pool. Our room with private Val only overlooking the water was very relaxing .

A few of the restaurant staff were rude, especially the daytime bartender, she didn’t need to be so grouchy!

if there was one minor thing it was road noise in the rooms closest reception but it really was minor. The breakfast included is ok, personally I think a tiki bar on the water with small tables would be amazing x

everything really, we don’t love big resorts and prefer to get a feel for the local area and community which we did here. it’s like a high grade motel in the most stunning location.

Closer to the main drag that I realized from the pictures. A bit in the middle of nowhere - about 20' to Islamorada and longer to Marathon and really no options for restaurants other than the Meh restaurant on site. Loved the available paddle boards but absolutely nothing to see on the bay side of the Key at this location. Continental breakfast was pretty lacking - didn't try to order hot food.

Property and room were spotlessly clean. Staff was super - friendly and informative. Yoga with Shivaun was an unexpected treat. Bed was comfortable and A/C was delightfully cold. Good shower. Decent paddleboards and kayaks freely available. Pretty sunset views from the bay side!

Lovely beach with warning-swim at your owen risk (sharks, aligators ??).

This hotel is good choice when traveling to Key West. Free parking, comfortable rooms, swimming pool. Nearby there is traditional bar with good drink and food.

Super nicely maintained resort with friendly staff and great beach front. We loved our spacious room with kitchen (got an upgrade to a beachfront apartment). The restaurant on the property served breakfast (included) and amazing dinner! Enjoyed relaxing in one of the many hammocks.

I was concerned when we were told our room was off property, but I think I'd do it again. It was like having a private pool get-away but still access to the beach and restaurant. The downside was the traffic on the main road, but it really didn't bother me much, only when we needed to cross the road.

All the amenities were amazing. Everyone was so kind from the staff to the state park employees. And not feeling a rush of people was pleasant considering it was Memorial Day weekend. Loved the slow pace feel.

•The shower’s water didn’t get as warm as preferred.

•The actual property is beautiful! it’s truly what you envision a “Key Largo” resort to look like. •The amenities are wonderful. The beach chairs, hammocks, and on property restaurant made everything so relaxing and convenient. •The staff was incredibly friendly. •The rooms were very clean and provided all the necessities.

A couple of the staff members at the restaurant were rude and short with us in the evening. Everyone else was absolutely wonderful!

It was private and peaceful. A perfect place for my husband and I to take our honeymoon!
