My only criticism was the AC in my room didn’t get super cool which was fine overnight but then died during our busy getting ready for the wedding in the morning. Luckily a friend booked a room a few doors down so we had a nice cold room to finish up in!

All staff members I dealt with either on the phone or in person were amazing and helpful. Special shout-out to Shane from the restaurant for going above and beyond to make sure my friends and I were well fed delicious food before my wedding!

All was perfect. Unfortunately we had a fire alarm in the evening, following which the electricity was cut off until the next morning. The staff did their best to accommodate guests despite the circumstances.

Historical property set in beautiful landscaped gardens, very peaceful, great staff & food.

Great breakfast, staff super friendly and available 24/7, access to all yoga courses, fire pit during evening, size of the facility is good (not overcrowded), pool and sauna opened 24/7

We wish there were more food and snack options available on the resort. The dinner was very average for the price (cost us $184) for two which felt a little high for the quality of the food. Food was good but not great and wasn’t worth the expense.

It is nice that breakfast was provided daily, but a little more of a rotation in the menu would have been nice. We were pretty much served the same food for a week.

    - Rooms are not cleaned every day. It is only cleaned every 3 days upon request if you stay long enough. - It doesn't have A/C. Given the height of the place, it is mostly fine. You have a roof fan instead.

    - Place is peaceful - Pool and jacuzzi - Yoga and related classes - Wooden Crate (restaurant). It has a delicious pre-fixed menu that changes daily. They adapted beautifully to vegan/vegetarian restrictions. - Decoration

Enjoyed the peace & quiet. The serene surroundings and security.

Unfortunately, a couple of the yoga classes were canceled because the instructors fell ill with no replacements.

The breakfasts were good, and the dining experience at the restaurant (Thursday-Saturday) was fabulous! I enjoyed the yoga class that I participated in, the grounds and accommodations were beautiful and entire environment was peaceful and calming. The staff members were all lovely and very helpful.

2 things that bothered me a little- the room could have been cleaned a little better. There was a dead roach in the corner (not a huge problem and better dead than alive… but added to the uncleanliness), behind the nightstands was very dusty/spider webby and a bit of garbage, and a spider web in the shower. There were also some ants… but I also should have known better not to leave food out. Breakfast was delicious - I would have liked to have seen skillet potato’s instead of fried (little bit healthier)- but the person making breakfast was super awesome and friendly. And loved the lox bagels her made!! Super minor things- but figured I’d be honest-

I’ve stayed here before and love the grounds, the peacefulness of it all, and the saltwater pool. Oh- and the kitties and chickens roaming around. Everyone is so kind and lovely and there were the best complementary fresh s’more cookies that I have ever eaten!!!

    1) Their website and marketing materials showed a restaurant onsite. This was actually closed. This was not disclosed. Therefore no dinner or lunch on site. 2) There is no housekeeping, No clean towels. Bed linens were dirty. Room was dirty. 3) The facility was supposed to have yoga classes but these were canceled last minute. Instructors didn’t show up. In five days we stayed we could attend one class even though the schedule when I booked showed 2 classes a day. 3) This was a terrible value for the money asked. $400 a night for a filthy little room with a lot of deceptive marketing.

The grounds were spectacular and very well cared for. Staff were polite mostly.

Noise from the other room directly behind us. So no rooms have sound insulation. You can hear everything ! Need to supply a couple of glasses per room. Not good drinking our good wine out of paper cups. Or anything else for that matter.

Room had some issues. Rather dirty, and smelled like cat pee. There are lots of cats onsite and they must get into rooms sometimes. I tried airing it out but it didn’t go away. The rooms really need a deep cleaning and to be better maintained. The porch outside the room with outdoor sofa was nice, but also dirty. There wasn’t an easy place anywhere to plug in a phone or computer charger. No art or decorations in the room, felt a bit bare.

Beautiful old plantation buildings with lots of history and charm. Pretty pool and relaxing stone hot tub. Restaurant onsite. Massage available. Great classes offered including yoga and breathwork. Really sweet and helpful staff.

    Nope.

The staff member John was very helpful. He introduced the property and some nice restaurants in Paia to us. When I needed some ice to treat my injury because I accidentally hit the trunk lid, he helped us right away. We really appreciate his kind assistance. The breakfast was also pretty good!

    Not a thing.

I literally loved every single thing about Lumeria. The salt water pool, the grounds, the breakfasts, the quiet. It was perfect. And it was also a good location with proximity to Haleakala entrance. It was nice to see upcountry Maui, which might actually be my favorite part.

at the beginning the breakfast was nice (even thouh we found bugs in musli) but after a different cook appeared, the breakfast was quite terrible. Only few thing to choose, and everything was missing soon and we had to ask for tea, for cups, for more fruit and the chef was very unpolite and unwilling. even though we asked for exchange of towels after 3 days, we did not get any and there were other small things, like the light and ventilator was not working in one room…
