Letter G sticker was on the drawers and cabinets for guests, but majority of drawers and cabinets were full of hostess' belongings in the room and bathroom. This is the first time we've stayed in a bedroom in someone's home, so not sure if this is normal.

Great location, close to San Marcos and Wimberley, the destination for a family reunion. Property was well decorated for the holidays and we felt safe and enjoyed other Christmas lights and decorations while walking the neighborhood in the evening.. Beautiful quiet and safe location populated by friendly and abundant deer.. Looking forward to a return visit later in the spring.

Everything ! It was super clean, comfy and easy to find! Quiet neighborhood and I loved the Deers everywhere close to the house and to the roads. Marlen furnished everything with love and you can see that. She’s super open and welcoming and I loved talking to her but she of course respects the other way around too if someone’s more introverted. I loved everything and can 100% recommend. If I’m back in the area, that is my go to Host and house ! 😄

Wasn’t really anything to dislike in the least.

Remote: on 1 acre wooded private secluded away from the city life quiet with deer running around in the early morning hours. It was also nice that Texas State Students reside there on a presumed semester basis.

The set-up is BnB. The rooms were spotless, the towels and the bedroom linens felt like being laundered at home. Located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood (Oasis). Had an extension with several outlets conveniently placed on the bedside table.

My wife and I loved the accommodations. The room and bathroom were very clean.The bed was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating to our needs and she was very nice. My wife has continuing training throughout the year in the area. The hotels in the immediate area are very disappointing . Thus, we were very fortunate to find this jewel in the area. On our next training session, we will select this room again.

The only thing that could have been better was trying to find a place to stay. After hours of searching online, I finally found Marlens place that was available. Once we arrived we were ecstatic with the accommodations and hostess.

Marlen was a great hostess. She welcomed us at the door and gave us a thorough tour of the house. She showed us all the kitchen options for food or drink, showed us the living area and the back yard/porch area. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great.

Marlen is such a wonderful person and I really enjoyed talking with her. She has been trying to help me a lot and I felt like I was at home. I am so glad that I stayed here. Very beautiful and quiet place. I saw cute baby deer outside.

Super comfortable bed and breakfast with excellent ensuite bathroom. Marlen is an extraordinary friendly host and made us feel at home from the first minute. After only one night we feel like we have been friends for ages.

I can't think of anything

Our stay at Marlen's was great. Marlen is a great hostess. She is originally from Germany and therefore speaks perfect German and English. My son and I stayed with her for one night because we wanted to go tubing in San Marcos on our road trip around Texas. Our bedroom with its own bathroom was very comfortably furnished, the bed was very comfortable. We were allowed to use Marlen's kitchen and living room. Everything was very neat and clean. At breakfast, our wishes were taken into account and because we got along well immediately, she kept us company while we ate. Unfortunately, their rooms were already fully booked for the following days, otherwise we would have spontaneously stayed longer.
