The interior courtyard was lovely with lots of appeal. Once you ventured beyond that it was dreary and disappointing. Book a room with a view of the pool!

The pillows were uncomfortable. Even after refusing to pay extra for late check out when we checked in, I continued to receive offers for it, annoying. Not enough parking that felt safe.

We paid extra for a recently upgraded room in order to get queen beds ( my husband is very tall). The room was worth it.

The rooms besides the pool are a little worn out and the air conditioner. The renovated room in the adjacent building we later upgraded to was a bit noisy since the outdoor door to the floor made a big sound when it was shut, which generally took place from early morning to late night. The above mentioned things should be easy to fix though.

The staff was really service minded and did a good job keeping the place clean. The location with its own beach as well as the pool surrounded by the rooms was very nice. I will definitely recommend it to families.

Beautiful room renos. Better than the pictures. Used this as a late night flight arrival stop before we checked into our condo. Would stay again if needed.

Would have been handy to have a microwave. We did notice that someone brought a microwave to their door so maybe we could have got one upon request.

Beautiful grounds and was right on a nice beach. We were able to watch wind surfers from the patio in front of our room door. The restaurant connected to the motel was a reasonably priced and we enjoyed the food.

The pictures make the rooms look much nicer. For example, our beds had no headboard. The lobby was nice...Plus the AC is a small, barely effective window unit. The beach was littered in plastic (not the hotel's fault).

Location - on the beach in Kahaluhi, close to shopping and restaurants. Facilities - lovely pool area with grass, outside games, comfy lounge chairs, beautiful view.

The staff was excellent! They’re very friendly and informative and make you feel truly welcome! We stayed in the newly renovated room and it was gorgeous. The pool, fire pits, lights, murals were creating magical atmosphere.

Bit expensive, but I guess that is Maui in general. However still significant cheaper and better value compared to the big resorts.

Room service, friendly staff, great views. Was a safe and comfortable place given the location. Staff provided a microwave and kettle for us which we really liked.

Room was small but compact. We could have upgraded but didn't. A/C works well but feet get cold.

We were in an older room and the aircon unit was incredibly noisy, as was the fan - but without them it was too hot.

Lovely upgrades to communal areas - really encouraged you to get outside your room. We had a situation in the middle of the night (nothing the fault of the hotel) and the night staff were very understanding and helpful.

The pool was out of order and would have been nice to know when we booked that it would be unavailable during the certain dates. Because we would have not booked there. Also, didn’t like that we had to pay and extra $20 for cleaning service, that should already be part of our room charge and not an extra cost. First time ever having to pay extra for that and I have traveled to a lot of places.
