That we had to come home!!!

This is an exceptional find in such a busy part of Times Square where you can relax away from the bright lights and just reflect on all the fun of the day in the ambience of the hotel bar and the boutique rooms. This was just what we needed after a full on day of sightseeing and walking our socks off! The staff are so attentive ,full of great local knowledge and make you feel so welcome! Dickson gives the best hugs, makes the best drinks! Shona, Demi, Paul and all the team thank you for making this the best trip to New York we will dedicatedly come back!! Thanks Liz and Izzy

We had a 8mo and we asked for a crib (which we got) but it was pulling a little of cold air through the floor so she had to sleep with us.

I loved that it was clean, safe, pretty quiet. The staff was very welcoming and diligent in making sure we have best experience. They showed care and extra support throughout our stay.

The shower hardware literally fell off the wall when I touched it , and I was unable to get water out of it. But we were only 1 night, so I didn’t report it because it really didn’t matter to us, for 1 night. And sink is very slow to drain. Again, literally just there to sleep.

A true gem!! Very clean and quiet. Amazing location. Walkable to main attractions. Staff was very personable, made you feel like long time friends. Enjoyed the morning conversation with the breakfast crew at the restaurant. Layout was perfect for family of four.

The room was small. We booked a superior queen room but we were disappointed in the size of the room, it was a tight squeeze for two people and there was a constant whine, like a vacuum cleaner

Nothing at all. It was really the perfect hotel stay.

Everything! Location was perfect, it is literally around the corner from Time Square, Subway stations, and great restaurants and shopping. Our room was perfect. It was on the smaller side, but that is to be expected in NYC. But it was still completely comfortable for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases and 2 carryon bags. The bed and pillows were very nice as well. Bathroom was perfect size and the hot water worked perfectly! Noise wasn’t an issue at all, which was a pleasant surprise. And housekeeping came every day and did an excellent job. And the staff were amazing! So, so helpful and kind. The restaurant was also incredibly delicious with excellent service as well.

The pillows were very big and I couldn't sleep on them either night; the noise level due to the rickshaws outside woke me several times a night.

We love this hotel- so much heart, perfect location, like coming “home” after a big day in the Big Apple. The owner and staff are amazing, Irish vibes and friendliness, great food and drinks in the restaurant on the main floor as well as next door at their pub Connellys. The beds are comfortable, the rooms fresh and the bathrooms are beautiful. Love the shower! Honestly there isn’t a better place to stay.

Merrion Row is a smaller modern hotel that still has the charm of an older property. The staff really made my stay, all so friendly and helpful. Great location within walking distance to Times Square, Bryant's Park, Avenue shopping and Central Park and very safe if traveling alone as I was. Rooms as good as shown on their website and fantastic food.

Nothing. It was great! So much better than a large, personality-less chain hotel.

This hotel experience was exceptional. They were so welcoming and warm, they made us feel like family from the minute we got there. We only had two days and we felt so comfortable there. My two young daughters said they felt like they were home and refuse to stay anywhere else when we come back to the city. My husband and I agreed! The room was cute and the beds were comfortable, the food at the restaurant was delicious. But the best part was really the people. And of course the location was insanely convenient.

Honestly, nothing.

Location was perfect to walk to most of the NYC main sites or access the metro and yet in a quiet niche 1 minute from Times Square. Shonagh was extremely friendly as was Bernie, Sebstian and all of the staff in the restaurant and bar. It truly felt like a home from home. For being a boutique hotel, one miinue off Times Square, the rooms were quite spacious, clean and very quiet.

There was nothing not to like

What a little hidden gem in the middle of Manhattan just a very short walk from the steps at Times Square. A small boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and modern bathrooms. Shona , the hotel manager, always on hand to deal with any queries and to help with any questions you have about the city from shopping to restaurants to directions . Nothing was any trouble to her and her wonderful staff. Hotel has a fantastic bar and a great restaurant too.

Girl at cash in the morning was not great. Had a tiny bit of attitude, maybe just a New York thing but everyone else was sooo nice! It was EXPENSIVE, but I get that it was last minute and during fashion week.

Had to stay here because my previous hotel was all booked up due to fashion week and my flight was cancelled due to thunder storms. Location is great, very cute and comfortable, pub downstairs was just what we needed after getting drenched.
