How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Staff was very nice. Accommodating and helpful. The room looked like it was used to parties. Ripped ottoman and the pictures were bolted in multiple places to the wall. We traveled as a couple but only one washcloth and hand towel. We were offered an early check in, so that was much appreciated. We paid 200/night to stay there, probably because it was Notre dame football game day but I would not have normally paid that much and been happy.

Tub dripped. Bathroom had bandaids on the wall and didn’t feel terribly clean.
Nice people, walking distance from the campus of Notre Dame.

Wayyyyy too overpriced for the accommodations.
Couch had weird stains. However, the bed was really comfortable.

I was not met with my accomodations,I asked for extra bed was told if they have one asked me what room number never heard anything back even when they seen me never said a word to me about it,I feel like it was lazy on there part the hotel was not busy at all by far so I'm sure there was extra bed floating around my details said my room came with a couch with bed which was not in there!

The room is big but feels quite dated. There was at least one bedbug I killed, and another one that I woke to bites from. Housekeeping knocked and woke me up at 9, in what world do they do that? I had checked in at midnight and I was 3 hours away from checking out.

I was leaving town after the game so needed to store my suitcase in the hotel then grab it after the game, but they didn't have a secure bag storage room. I had to keep some valuables there like a laptop, because the football stadium doesn't allow such things into the stadium. The staff were extremely kind and helpful about holding the bag for me in the area behind the front desk, but I travel all over the world and so was surprised that luggage storage seemed to be an unusual thing.
It was great value in a great location. I was in town for the Notre Dame football game. I ended up walking to the stadium and back, but they also offered a very convenient shuttle for $12 1-way or $20 return. I got a room upgrade on booking.com, but my room was spacious with a desk, bar stools and second sink, clean and quiet even in the room right beside the elevator. The gym was simple but clean (just a couple cardio machines).

No ice machines working; an extra blanket would be nice; carpet in stairwells not well maintained, very worn. No hot water for hot tea though tea bags present in breakfast area. Robe hook in bathroom fell on floor when I put a T-shirt on it.
Cute little place; parked right in front. Carpet in hallways very clean and well maintained. Desk clerks very friendly and efficient. Pumpkin waffles delicious.

Breakfast- not so good. Lots of carbs Bathroom- ok. Sink did not drain well & shower dripped regularly Bedroom- several stains and AC was not accurate

Very hot in elevator, there was hair in2 spots in the tub, breakfast choices were very limited, WiFi not strong, tv froze often. Staff at the desk were not really interactive
