How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bath towels - one was very nice and the other one was very thin and stained with something blue. I had to ask the young woman at the front desk to clean the air conditioner filters which were thick with dust. That should be a maintenance or housekeeping task, and should be done frequently. No guest should have to find them filthy, as I did.

First I made the booking I was getting room for only 56 then when I got there it ended up being 86.25. I paid it cause I had to my brothers funeral was the next day. Got in room no toilet paper anywhere. Couldn’t take a bath no drain stopper.

Tiny room looked nothing like the online picture. Dirty bathroom bed was hard tv small horrible view dirty mirror. Found a sock next to my bed that was not mine

1. It was very dirty. It smelled musty. 2. The stairway carpet was horrible.. so stained. There was trash on the floor. 3. The pillows in our room were so horrible we went to Walmart to buy 2. We asked housekeeping for more but none were available. 4. The floors were dirty and sticky. The floor in The bathroom was so bad I had to put a towel down. 5. Breakfast options were weak. 6. The staff was not attentive at all. 7. No one wore professional hotel attire. 8. We paid about $200 a night for a crappy hotel. We should have paid more for a better place where there was pride in ownership. 9. Our keys stopped working daily and sometimes multiple times a day.

Where to start. When I got off the elevator (at 11pm), the hallway looked like the morning after a frat party. Trash everywhere. 2 cleaning carts in the hallway and doors open to several rooms. There was a vacuum cleaner in my room. I moved it to the hallway and tried to go to bed. A few minutes later, a scantily clad woman with a key tried to enter my room, saying she was going to clean it (at 11pm!) luckily I had internal latch on, so she could not get in. I told her to come back tomorrow. I cannot help I think things would have been stolen if I weren’t there. Every staff member and most of the other people in the hotel looked like methheads. I wish I had taken photos.
My room was somewhat clean.

Room was very dirty....upon arrival the floor wasn't vacuumed and had a corn dog stick on the floor ...the bed sheets had what appeared to be water /urine stains....the bar stools were heavily stained as well as the cushion on the window bench... literally the size of a basketball... toilet was dirty in and out of the bowl with dried urine.... although the staff was friendly and took care of the situation while went out for a couple hours...would recommend a surprise inspection from property owners....

Upon checking in thought the room was a nice clean room, when entered the bathroom the floor was extremely sticky and with several dead bugs in the shower. When I tried to take a shower, the showerhead was so clogged water only came out of two holes in the showerhead was like taking a shower with a water pic breakfast starts at 7 we had to leave and we’re not able to try it. When checking out two employees standing at the counter arguing who was supposed to take over so the guy could finish his shift and leave.

Upon arrival I got two rooms for me and my family one room I was giving was dirty. Then switched to a room that the tv didn’t work and tub was filthy. Third room mirrors dirty base of beds were dirty as well .
The price was reasonable and breakfast although do it yourself was a nice touch
