Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. HondurasThe photos show a rather nice-looking place, but the reality is that it’s in very poor condition. It lacks cleanliness — the refrigerator and dishes were especially dirty and poorly maintained. The bed was old, uncomfortable, and in bad shape, just like the pillows, which were thin, worn out, and uncomfortable. The towels were also very old and worn. Everything needs to be replaced urgently. Additionally, there was no nearby parking available. The owner never contacted us directly to offer support; instead, all communication was handled through a third party, who also failed to provide effective solutions.

United StatesThese accomodations were booked becasue the listing states that there is FREE PARKING. There is NO PARKING for this facility, only street parking and the closest spot I could find was two and half blocks away. It's always fun to have to walk that far, with your arms full of gear, in a neighborhood you don't know. Nothing like painting a target on someone. If you say you have parking, the you should have parking AT the site.

United States1. Thermostat broken so rooms were very cold. I decided to purchase a space heater. 2. Roof leaking and water over the floor in common area 3. Loud, rude, angry, obnoxious "guests" at all hours making relaxation impossible 4. No USPS access so mail is returned and not received by guest 5. No hot water in kitchen area 6. My room was vandalized and door kicked in. I had to file a police report and vacate two days early causing expense for another place to stay having prepaid the full amount. 7. Entry doors open all night and not secured. 8. No onsite management.

United StatesDirt. The common space isn’t being maintained. There was only one coffee pot for 3 floors of private rooms and it had’t been cleaned for months so grey MOLD grew in it. My husband had to wash with his bare hands (I couldn’t possibly do it)… even more, there were crumbs under the table everywhere. I don’t get why cleaning staff don’t clean the common space and kitchen equipment. Our private room was clean enough but there was a bunch of long dark hair - even on the new bed sheets(I am blonde).

ItalyThe house description is wrong. In the description we booked a whole 200m² house, in reality it's only a 9m² room with bathroom. Locating the house is difficult. We went to the location on map marked on booking.com: it's wrong by 600m. We went to the address written on booking.com. also wrong by 800m. We went to the address that the host sent us in a spontaneous private message, first line: also wrong by 40m. We went to the address the host sent us in a spontaneous private message, deep into 20-30 lines of message: also wrong by 10 metres (wrong room number). We requested the owner to give us the correct address, he replied immediately and gave us the correct address and room number. In the end we reached our room but it was quite hard. This would easily be a 10/10 review if it were easy to locate.
Very nice neighborhoodneith small houses. Restaurants and shops are cheap, it's near big highways, just between the LAX airport and the city centre. Also Hollywood is quite near. There is limited free parking and some paid private parking available in the house. The house has 20 rooms on 3 floors, with complete kitchen and laundry on every floor. The house has cold/hot air conditioning but it's not configurable, it's the same temperature in all rooms. All the appliances (bed, desk, shower) are new. Also the building of the house is new. Itnernet works 80% of the time. The price is fine, a bit less than average. The deposit is high but it's justified and it's released timely.
