The access to the venue is through a narrow dirt road that is not marked well. We got a 2nd floor, the place has no lift. Thankfully, the staff helped us carry our suitcases up through the stairs.

The view outside was lovely, the meals were lovely, the staff was nice.

Great place from which to explore Sequioa Very nice breakfast and dinner buffets. Didn't manage to try a lunch. Excellent free wifi even on the parking space. But you'll want to download offline maps to navigate. And currently the main access road is blocked so use the bypass as they explain in their email.

The room had not been cleaned very well, there were some spider webs and dirt on the shelves. Might also need some renovation.

Perfect location for a trip to the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. Great lake and mountain views. Simple but nicely furnished rooms, complimentary meals were good, even had vegan options.

For the price per day the rooms could be a little nicer. Would have liked a chair and TV in the room.

    Food and staff were great.

Check in staff were a bit rude. Only 2 out of the 4 beds had been made. Toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Towels were hung behind the bathroom door and we couldn’t be sure they were clean or left by the previous guests. Very noisy I think our room was above a bowling alley by the sounds coming from below. Food was ok for a kids camp.

    Good location for sequoia.

The resort did what they had to do to keep it all going, but the detour road sucks and the signage at the main (now closed) could be improved and made more obvious.

The staff was phenomenal. The facilities were clean. The bed was comfortable. Good selections for food at meals. Availability of to-go options for lunch.

The main entrance was closed and there should have been more info about the detour that is a dirt road. The hallways and carpet are old and dingy and need to be replaced . The pictures give you the wrong impression and also smoke from fires in the forest especially worst in morning can be very bad for asthmatics , we kept windows open as it was hot and didn’t sleep well as in your head you are scared the place is about to burn down!

Good food and staff was great and accommodating. Location is perfect ! Plenty of games for family to play and hangout ! Location is perfect and you are right in the middle of the park!

It was nowhere indicated that the normal approach road was closed. That meant an extra drive along a dirt track (2,5 miles approx), in wet conditions impossible for a regular vehicle. The main building was in need of major repairs, outside many features were in various stages of construction.

Family atmosphere, staff was friendly, our lodge was spacious and clean.

The property was built in the 70s, so many of the original locations are still very dated. This didn’t detract from our stay, but is good to keep in mind. Also, remember that as a family camp, you will always find kids running around and that can be hectic during the day, but it was never a problem at night - the property was still very quiet.

The lodge has everything you could possibly need - amazing location, very good food, coffee, tea and beverages whenever you’d like them, a bar, lake with canoes, kayaks and paddle boards, pickle ball courts, access to trails, and wonderful staff.

The bathroom in our room wasn't very clean, but it served it's purpose for us. Despite "whisper in the hallways" signage, the staff doesn't abide to this. We were woken up by the staff accessing the storage room next to us in the evenings and mornings.

It is located within SEKI making it easy access and shorter drives from outside air bnbs. We had been making all our meals at air bnbs before, so it was nice to be able to not have to worry about meals. Their pack a bag lunch option was also really nice. The views were stunning and for 3 meals a day, location, and the fact 6 people could've stayed in our room... the price is unbeatable. For dinner- if you'd like rolls or dessert, I'd consider getting to dinner time in the earlier hours. We heard others mention they had ran out.

It was difficult to reach the lodge as the main road was currently being closed.

It was located in the middle of the national park and away from the roads, being a very quiet place. The food served there was quite good and varied from one day to another.

It was cold when I visited. At the dinner I had to get the food from the bottom of the warming plate to get warm food. I didn't know there was more variety in the kitchen area for breakfast such as toast and cereals.

    Location is perfect.

There's a long detour now to get to the lodge that leads via unpaved road - we were not informed about this prior to arrival. Lots of things are under construction/renovation now, so not all facilities are available.

Very good food, buffet style, especially dinner was fabulous. Great contact with the staff, even if the prices dropped since we made the reservation it was easy to get a refund of the difference.

The timing of dinner (5:30-7:00) seems a little early, as anyone out for sunset misses dinner. That being said, it is easy enough to grab leftovers and re-heat them. The placement of the Lodge is a bit diminished because of the access road being washed out - I was disincentivized from returning to the property multiple times a day (including for lunch), as the circuitous dirt road was a bit of a pain. If/when the original road is restored, the property would be much more appealing.

The location, between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park, is excellent. The Lodge has a nice view to the south, and the food and drink is good. The rooms are quiet.
