In the room there was no hotel information/map. It would have been handy to know when breakfast started and where the cafe and pool were located.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were even more uncomfortable, walls were a little thin so we could hear other guests walking around. Water pressure in the shower was a bit lacking. Pros of this place easily outweigh the cons however.

Amazing view from our room. It poured the entire time we were there so the view from our room was huge plus to see the waves without even leaving our room. Breakfast met our expectations. Enjoyed the cable channel selection on our TV.

We used to stay at this location often under old ownership. The renovation is tasteful especially all the changes to the lobby. The view is of course perfect and the breakfast good. The staff were fun and friendly.

No elevator when my knee was acting up. No bathroom in pool area. Put us on 3rd floor without knowing there was not any elevator.

Really like the two chairs to watch the waves. Nice size rooms, very comfortable.

Kitchen facility could have used more glasses/mugs to reach the capacity of the room i.e. sleeps 4 - 4 coffee cups and/or glasses. It had the plates a d bowls for the occupancy, it should have the drink ware to match

Overall the place is great. Feels a little spendy for what you get…similar places all along the beach, but this one is more updated. A couple quirks: the toilet was so high off the ground, my feet did not touch the ground. I’m 5’ 5” tall and never had this in a hotel. It would be hard for short people or kids to use this toilet. The other thing, after we checked in, we were enjoying the sunset around 530pm. The phone rang and startled us. It was the hotel staff calling to see if everything was good in the room. I understand that this was done to be hospitable and I’m sure staff are told to do this, however, it startled us and interrupted the quiet calm we had specifically come for. Perhaps staff can just emphasize that they can be reached if something isn’t right or if something is missing or needed. Other than that, nice people, clean room., beautiful view.

Location! Book a room overlooking the ocean. It’s the entire reason to stay here! Wooden steps directly to the beach. Staff were friendly and room was spotless. Pool, hot tub and sauna were decent. Nice to have a sauna to really warm up after brisk beach walks.

Having to discard the coffee grounds from the French press, small bag was awkward, the little table and chairs made the room a little cramped , I don’t like late check ins I don’t travel much and having to stay busy all day with all of our stuff isn’t ideal, it’s probably standard
