How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

You have a “furnished” apartment with a dishwasher but no dish nor dishwasher detergent. You have a washing machine with no detergent. The maid/staff will do only come to bring things if you are in your room but don’t then make it to the room unless you stay half a day waiting. A periodic vacuum under the furniture would be great.
The rooms were nice. Nice location. Great restaurant and bar with great wait staff.

The unit that we were in could use some updating. The carpet was frayed. The TVs were all very old. The fridge barely kept anything cold.
The location was perfect. And the views were incredible. The space in the condo was perfect. The heated pool was nice. The small beach was lovely. The property was maintained well, and it was secure.

I didn’t like having to pick up the keys at a different location and having to wait until 5pm. The restaurant food was like a high priced concession stand.
I like the spacious suite and the pool.

Picking the keys up at a location off property is very inconvenient. Also the check in time of 5:00 pm is later than similar properties.

The room needs upgrades. Toilets don’t flush well, stove burners don’t all work, not much for cookware and the couch is uncomfortable. The neighbors 2 night were insufferable. Just unbelievably loud. Security had to come twice.
The location and amenities are amazing. Our 3rd time here.

The room was spacious and well laid out but needed some repairs. While there the refrigerator broke and spoiled all of the food; however the resort reimbursed us for the loss. Mostly normal wear and tear in other places that could use some attention.
Location and outdoor activities/amenities were great.

Most all pool chairs were reserved by others very early.
Nice location to delicious restaurants, beach access within short walk, ocean view from rooms are lovely.

The dishes were a little dirty
The setting of the rooms is very nice and lots of room. Is a nice beach and pier at the end of the road to see the sunset. Lots of cats and raccoons around the grounds

The dishwasher was broken, the kitchen supplies were sparse. We had to ask for kitchen towels, there weren't hot pads for the oven, there were only small glasses for drinking. One of the headboards was broken, funcional but coming apart. The whole condo needs a deep cleaning, the ceiling fan had visible dust coating. The couch needs to be replaced in our unit, it was a nice size but just worn cusions that smush flat and make you slump uncomforably while sitting.
The beach, pool and property were all very nice. Great location and nice space to walk around, away from traffic but close to the main road enough to run out to attractions and stores. An unexpected bonus for us was the cat colony that lives there. We enjoyed watching the cats scurry around, if you don't like cats it wouldn't bother you, but if you do it is entertaining.

Very spread out. We were an extended family travelling together and would have liked our rooms to be close to each other (as requested when all three rooms were booked in one booking), but we were quite distant from each other- in different buildings.

Hdmi Cable in bedroom did not work properly, could not use cable tv in bedroom , coffee pot was dirty, AC barely works in bedroom, bedroom seemed hot compared to living room and guest room, construction was very loud at 8:50 am Monday morning
