How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Absolutely nothing. This was a great hotel!
The room was spectacular! The staff was professional, friendly and informative. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at! I will definitely recommend this to family and friends.

The place is dirty and all I can smell is mildew. I don’t feel super safe about staying here because I have a feeling mild is present.

The hotel is old. Which is absolutely no problem, because it is very cute inside. What I mean by old is that the carpet stinks and is dirty, there was mold in my room’s lamps and curtains. Housekeeping was not thorough with the cleaning of my room. There was a pink thong hanging in the curtain rod when we arrived in the room. My nose was stuffy during my whole stay because of the dirty musky carpet. My baby was running around bare feet in the room when we first arrived and when she climbed on the bed her feet were full of hair and were dirty. This could be a banger place because it is close to both savannah and tybee but not in either which is great for ppl who are trying to stay away from bigger crowds. And they have a pool. Perfect for families. Some renovations would turn the place around.
Breakfast was simple but good! I was glad i didn't have to look for places to eat early in the day.

Pool was a bit over chlorinated but I guess better than under chlorinated

The staff made it completely unsafe and to stay with comments and physical violence intimidation I had a reservation for 4 nights and demanded to end my stay and for choice to move my stay to another chiuslce hotel and was told I couldn't because the hotel wouldn't check me out of the room ...they commented a crime ..defamation of character and serial harassment and made it unsafe for there guest !!!! All on camera at the front desk do not stay at this hotel you might get beat up or hurt even worse if they don't approve of your physical look . And when I went to check out early like choice asked me to do she told me no and didn't check me out ...they the lady at the desk starts yelling and using profanity towards me also so it all staff members not just evening shift..do not waste your money on this he'll hole death trapp

The pictures on the website for this hotel were deceiving. We stayed in the king suite, the furniture was from the 1970, the carpet underneath the dining table was worn and torn, sofas dirty and stained, wash cloth and towels in the bathroom dingy. The curtains to the window in the bedroom were dirty and stained. We went to TJ MAXX across the street and brought our own towel set.

Moisture, mold, stinky greasy carpets, no vents so you barely can breathe. I’m not a gentle sleeper, but I couldn’t sleep the whole night. My vacation was almost ruined, but we scraped rests of our energy and moved to another hotel.
