Fab hotel in a great location 15 minute pretty walk to main strip Pacific Ave. The hotel has a great vibe - fun pool/bar/hot tub area. Lobby is really nice - staff super helpful and courteous. Our room faced the pool on 4th floor. I have seen other reviews about dirty rooms and rude service - not the case at all with us. The food and drink are pricey $30 for 2 cocktails, $45 for a muffin, egg sandwich and 2 coffees but the service was nice and so was the atmosphere. There are really limited rooms with a pool view and honestly since the windows face the outdoor walkway with folks walking by, you end up closing the shades for privacy so not such a big deal to get a regular room - just ask for a higher floor. (The first floor rooms I would stay away from - dark, you look at hedges and not private - especially around the entrances will be loud - banging gates)

The hanging/open bathroom door. Put real doors on the joint, and have a loud fan. No one wants to hear/smell their partners restroom remnants. The drinks at the bar are stupid expensive.

It's unfortunate the hotel's wifi is an open system, which apparently is less secure than one requiring a. password. As I understand it, an open system makes doing anything online requiring a password a really bad idea.

I like the fact that there's lots of counter space in the room; I like the exercise room.

The decor was very nice and cosy! Me and my kids also liked the pool area. The weather was cold but the hot tub was great and the pool was heated.

Not as close to the boardwalk or downtown as I was expecting but that was on me, I had a car though so it wasn't an issue

There was a bit more of a buzz than I was expecting here which was nice, the restaurant and bar is in a great location giving the place a lot of energy.

While the pool area is really nice, it is not a huge area so it can get a bit crowded. Location is on a main road and you need to walk a tiny bit to get into a nice area for strolling, coffee etc

Beautiful design and nice hang out area around the pool, the food in the restaurant was really good and they had some nice non alcoholic options. The bed was really comfortable and the interior of the room was modern and new. The location was really convenient and we could walk down to the pier. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but not too much, so we felt safe to walk.

It seems like it was short staffed when we were there. There were only a few staff working the breakfast area. It was obvious everyone was working hard and fast to accommodate. The staff were very nice and professional so my comment it was quantity of staff.

Great pool and service at the pool area. We enjoyed cocktails, music and an entertainer with flame sticks at the pool while the kiddo played games. Felt like there was something for everyone

We had communication issues with the front desk staff but we were able to work it out. Otherwise everything was great.

Very clean and the rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The pool area was nice. The property was very well maintained. There were restaurants nearby and easy access to freeway. The drinking water bottle fill up stations were very convenient. The valet staff were very helpful.

Location is not great. On a fairly busy street. Lots of homeless people and drug addicts in the adjacent park.

Loved the lobby. So modern and eclectic and artistic. Loved the pool area. Loved the food. A beautiful place!

Couple of things: - Toilett sliding door does not close completely :( - couple of extra Shower towels would be great -Flush of Toilett extremely loud! -Service for Breakfast was SLOW to get us tended, even though only 3 tables were busy, then we felt our waiter to be exasperated with tending to customers…
