I would appreciate a quaint restaurant, but it is ok because there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

My arrival was met with cheerful receptionist. Even the fellow guests were pleasant. The rooms were pleasant, it reminds me of the rooms on cruise ships, engineered for sleep/rest only. No frills, no fluff, but great sleep I did get. Not noisy and it is situated perfectly in the midst of everything. I walked everywhere. I do not have any complaints at all.

The bathing products in the shower were not fully stocked. Also, took a while to figure out how to get the water to come out of the shower head, spent the first half of my stay using the hand held shower hose. Rest was fine. Light next to bed not working, or I couldn’t figure out how to get it working. A short leaflet explaining how to use things in the room, important/emergency phone numbers, etc. … as I’ve seen in other hotels might be helpful.

Location was very good, I am a native New Yorker who lives abroad. A sudden change in my usual accommodation forced me to find lodging’s elsewhere, you were the lucky chosen. Bed was comfortable, space was tiny but then its in the pod-style one sees in Japan. Staff courteous and friendly.

The night table was not clean at all, it was a lot of dust. Also the windows weren’t clean so it damaged the views of nyc.

Good hotel. I'm satisfied. It's in a good location. Nearby bars, cafes, and restaurants are available. Times Square is a few blocks away. The Metro is also nearby, allowing quick travel to other locations.

You don’t have much interaction with staff unless checking in/out but they are friendly. No iron in the room or tea/coffee making facilities.

The location is fantastic. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Great view of the Hudson River.

Room is very clean, and staff are very helpful, professional and super friendly. Efficient check-in/check-out process. We were very grateful we got the early check in to our room :-) Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment. Overall we enjoyed our say at POD Hotel! Thank you so much for making our trip memorable.

The room is a bit small . Nonetheless it’s amazing place to sleep.

It was very accessible to the places of interests. And the fact that it was only few mins walk from time square is an added bonus. And walkable subway stations.

Only minor issues and nothing that would stop me from returning were I to stay in NY again. As the room was fairly small, storage was limited, meaning essentially lived out of the suitcase. There was also a missing shelf in our bunk room, meaning one bed didn't have a shelf to store devices etc. The room itself could be quieter. Whilst we didn't hear any other guests and the soundproofing from the window was great, the extractor fan in the bathroom never turned off (reception said this was normal). Sounded like a fan all night long.

Nice, comfortable hotel well located just a short walk from Times Square. Staff on reception were always friendly. Hotel was clean and modern. Room was fine. Beds were comfortable. Was cleaned daily and restocked with any toiletries/towels. Bathroom had frosted glass all round that ensured privacy.

The room size is TINY however this is to be expected in NYC. The bed was very uncomfortable with half feeling like you’re on a slope. We upgraded to a queen pod and the bed was bigger however that took away from the size of the room.

Location was great and easy access to everything, the staff were very friendly and the bathroom was good. Lovely shower. Views from the room was great.

Some of the USB charging points didn’t work. But the room had multiple charging options. Small room for a couple with two large suitcases but I knew what size room I booked. Just under 280€ a night for this is a joke. But all housing in NY is a joke. Nonetheless, the cost accounts for slightly lower rating. The staff are great , but like all service / horeca personnel in NY they are underpaid. Another joke , at least for someone from Europe.

Location is good. Just off Times Square , which had been cleaned up. It’s got great acoustic insulation. A big plus as the noise of NY streets is out of this world and some luxury apartments in this city have the noise of NY within their walls even 30 floors up.

Great location. Great cleaning service, special mention to Jenny, the cleaning lady, very nice and helpful. Enough and fast elevators to make the clients flow very fluid.

The only complaint I can think of is that when taking a shower, the water would trickle onto the bathroom floor no matter how you closed or positioned the shower curtain.

Overall, I recommend this property for a budget conscious traveler who is visiting Manhattan and wants a central location that allows easy access to the city. The room we stayed in had bunk beds and each bed had its own TV and outlet which was convenient. There were no issues in staying on the top bunk bed, but realistically for someone who is disabled or physically challenged in some way, this wouldn't be feasible. The room was clean and the fixtures and overall appearance was very modern and clean.

The room is tiny, however it will be enough for two people who will need it for sleeping only.

The location is excellent just few by the times square. The check process was fast and I received the room early in the morning due red eye flight.
