I could not make any code work except for the garage door code. If there is a trick to it, it would be nice to know what it is. I noticed other reviews mentioned it, so I was prepared. Once inside, my handicapped husband could navigate adequately. The king bed was low enough for him, so we really appreciated that. It would be nice if you could create a ramp to get in. We were able to get him in, but you are so close to be to say accessible, I thought I would provide this feedback.

The location was quiet and surrounded by green. Easy to get to. The rooms were decent size. The cooking and eating area were pleasant. The sitting area was comfortable.

We had to clean out the refrigerator when we got there, didn’t seem like it was cleaned after the previous guests left.

Good location, availability to park in the garage was a plus, making it easier to load and unload. It was perfect that we were able to bring our small dogs with us and plenty of space to walk them around the backyard. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and cooking supplies, plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathrooms, and it was nice that they provided a bowl and leash for our dogs, we didn’t use them since we brought our own but it was thoughtful to have some available.

The property was not as described: 1)it is at least 6 miles to Port Townsend city limits (not 4.7 to city center) and a couple more to the historic downtown; 2) it is not 600 feet from the beach, there is a State park about a block down the road with a couple short trails that lead to a bluff that overlooks the bay. I enjoyed the walks, but I didn't see an easy path to get down to the water; 3) Kala Point is a gated community a couple miles from the property, I did not see any access to Kala Beach or any signs directing me to beach access. If the beach was as close as stated in the description, the owner should leave area directions for visitors. The house is located at the end of a gravel lane, the neighbors are quiet but it's not the prettiest setting. Having the yard border the forest on the south side saved the setting.

The house is very nice and pet friendly, just like being at home for my small dog. The neighborhood is quiet, the backyard is spacious and borders the forest, very nice and scenic. Relatively easy to access main roads to exploring the area.

A bit far to Port Townsend. Access to water from the property not evident. It would be good to have a detailed note to renters how to access closest beach. Could not use living room TV. No directions. No AC—no fans, for an unusually hot week.

bathrooms were not that clean, some towels and wash cloths were dingy, one shower curtain was grimy/moldy at the bottom and the other shower had grime on the drain. kitchen had no spices and only 3 pads on the four kitchen chairs. communication was terrible. messaged about a thermostat issue and about getting a later check out and bevy got a response

Broken water heater that beeped constantly. we couldn’t stay. Housekeeping could have been better. The light switch plates which are always high use were dirty. The freezer had chunk of gross from other foods not from us. The washing machine smelled like mold and the kitchen sink had a dried crust of food in the sink still.

I love the location, quiet and very comfortable. The property is exceptional for muti days stay with family. I wished I had more time to explore local areas, where as, 3 nights were not long enough.

The home fit our needs perfectly! We loved the deer and birds (with bird food included)! Loved the trail to the beach at the tree line next to the house!

Upon arrival, we couldn't get the door code to unlock the door but when I called to ask about that, the lady tried to help us to no avail. She then gave us the garage door code and that worked!

Truthfully I wouldn’t change a thing. I have no complaints. If I visited the area again I would definitely stay there. As well as recommend to others.

Roomy. Great views. Very clean. Easy to get to attractions & restaurants. Private. Easily accessed upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen. Needed assistance with one of the heating units and received online help immediately.
