How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I got there and had order a king suite also paided for king suite. I got my room key went to my room and there was someone already in there! So I went back to the front desk and they gave me another room with two twin beds! I was very unhappy

I was told I couldn't stay there because I was a resident of Carlsbad New Mexico. Already paid for , already booked, needless to say we had nowhere to go my four year old my dog and I and it took 48 hours to get my money back I wish we would have been informed that they do not rent to locals on the website super 8 also does this I was in the same situation but walking when we had to leave from there. They really need to put that on the website that they do not rent to locals. We're not all bad people some of us are just in bad situations making the best out of it

The breakfast hours on a Saturday should last beyond 9am. We were not told at check-in the hours.
We got to breakfast just before 9am on a Saturday and there was absolutely nothing left. So, nothing to like.

Some staff live on premises in rooms, they were not identifiable, very rude, not professional or ethical, had to call copes due to out landish behavior, had to go get another room else where in middle of the night becasue of a miscommunication of pet regulation and we called to make sure before booking that pets where allowed.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Post time in. Despite having a confirmed reservation, the hotel staff informed me upon arrival that my room was not available. They offered no satisfactory explanation and made no effort to accommodate me with an alternative solution. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of organization and customer service. I will not be returning and advise others to avoid this hotel to prevent similar frustrations

Excellent refreshed classic motel. Room was attractive, very spacious, great beds. Large counter area in the bathroom, large kitchenish area. Everything sparkling clean with fast wifi. In downtown, restaurants and art museum in easy walking distance

Some of the staff was not directly rude but did stare quite unpleasantly during breakfast. I felt a bit uncomfortable with the constant looks. Thin blanket

I was tucked in the dark inner corner of the property, which is where several large bags of trash were dumped and left the duration of my stay by the ice machine, room 104. Directly above me were two men seated outside playing music loudly until 10pm. Every time I walked to my car and back they stared and made comments. Being a single traveler and a woman, this was uncomfortable for me. I didn’t complain in fear of retaliation. I like this place for an overnight stay to go hiking, but this stay wasn’t comfortable.
I’ve stayed here three times now and love the location and staff. The staff are usually very friendly. I’ve never had any discomfort with other guests until this stay.

In our first room, the A/C wasn't working, but the front desk was happy to give us another room.
The rooms were very nice and clean and looked new. The shower was amazing with gllass doors Beakfast was very good and they had a waffle maker.

There was a glitch with the key card not working, but it was fixed quickly.

It was as near perfect as possible.
Without question, having travelled tgrough 7 States so far, this is the best motel I have stayed in. Quiet, comfortable, superbly clean and well presented. Thank you for such a beautiful room. The WiFi worked perfectly, and was secure. The aircon was excellent.
