How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was great and I loved the shuttle bus to the Stockyards. Cassidy's is a really nice club on the inside. The room was really nice and clean.

We had a tub that had a slow drain but was ok
Location and shuttle ok Cassidy’s on Saturday night was so much fun.

Place was falling apart the elevators and pieces of metal hanging off my bath tub was very slow to fill I asked in English and in Spanish for another pillow top blanket I got the roughest prison blanket and for the first 3 days never got the blanket. On thee second floor a pipe was leaking Noone on staff was aware I slipped and fell did top the puddle and they only gave me 2 days refundes6 and free breakfast the rest of the stay

It was dirty and stinky in rooms and hallways and around hotel . The dogs in some of the room above us barking and hauling till 3 am . Somebody banged to the door 3 times at night . Management didn’t do anything about it . I had to calm them 6 times about those dogs . They said ( menagment ) that they can’t locate them !!! They said they hear them but they can’t find out where they’re 🤬. they said that they are a friendly pet friendly hotel so they cannot do nothing to the people who left the dogs alone because dogs are more important than the customers who actually pay for the room. In the hotel is Titi bar , liquor store , Tabaco store and the store with outfit for strippers and I forgot about nasty subway place so u can imagine how wild and loud is there till 5 am . Terrible place

Hotel was outdated rooms still had popcorn ceiling. Bathroom shower curtains would not stay closed when you were taking a shower. Noisy during sleeping hours from other guests. Would not stay there again.

Found a condom and condom wrapper in my room while with my kids. That was very disappointing. The tub also didn’t drain well. There was also dog poop in the hallway so I assume it’s pet friendly.
The breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very nice. Easy parking.

Our bathroom was dirty when we check in, and could not move us to another room, so we had to leave the room while the staff cleaned the bathroom. The bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and it leaned to the side. Our AC unit constantly made a loud noise when on.
The value was decent and the location was not far from places I wanted to visit downtown and the restaurants around the hotel were not bad.

Fabulous as always. Staff was able to put all of our rooms on the same floor. I think there were about 10 rooms from our family and friends.

Nothing, Everything was awesome.

The location is a little rough. Did not feel safe or secure. There were multiple people outside asking for cash and dealing drugs. As well as smoking illegal drugs.
The price was decent and the staff were excellent and extremely helpful.

Very Noisy, I was able to hear everything going on all around my room. And ealy in the morning it felt I was sleeping right next to the kitchen because I was able to smell food all in my room...very uncomfortable
