United StatesThe air conditioner didn’t work for the entire hotel but was fixed the for our second night stay. BUT, the second night, probably 30 families checked in for a girls ball tournament. The girls were between 10-13 and ran the hallways from 7:00-11:00PM. We called the front desk at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 and finally their fathers must have been called in their rooms to stop the noise. It’s unfortunate that parents don’t parent and sit in their room drinking and have no consideration for other people. The hotel did reduce our charge for the first night due to the air conditioner issue. They also waived our second night, but we will not be back. Wyndham should staff up when they have families coming for a weekend ball tournament. Also, they should include in their description it’s located right next to railroad tracks. Very noisy too!

United StatesEvening staff not friendly. House cleaning should at least empty garbage cans in rooms. Reserved 3 rooms and one didn’t have a/c. Staff said maintenance would be up but never showed. Found out there was NO maintenance for the weekend. Front desk person was new and didn’t know how to help us!! VERY frustrating.

United StatesOMG..The trains every 1.5 hrs!! Also the breakfast was very, very light on protein. Only nasty, hard scrambled eggs available. Biscuits and sausage gravy??? Fried potatoes ?? and everything else was prepackaged muffins, granola bars bagels or cereal. The Starbucks coffee didn't make up for lack of protein. I left very hungry. Don't do the sugar rush game in the AM. On another note, getting hot water on the 6th floor for a shower took waaaayyyy too long!!

United StatesAhhhh, where do I start, Trains every hour at night free breakfast terrible cold not what was pictured no waffles or pancakes, gravy looks good but tasteless. You are gonna get powdered eggs scrambled only, sausage lifeless, no other meat at all, there is good coffee and juice, PAPER PLATES, no bowls, no water, old bagels to reheat,. Room is good but shower not hot, no air-conditioning that I could figure out, you set the temp but it will never get there. Mini fidge hot turned all the way up Ice machine not working on 3rd floor, none of the vending machines on ANY floor worked (no power to them). Pool and hot tub good but kids 24-7 running everywhere. Restaurant attached not open, but when it is high class suit and tie reservation kinda place. Will NEVER stay at any any of this chain again. Could be just this point in time because reviews were good, but you know how that is. Last thought I was getting hot tub room, king deluxe, wasn't in any description was guessing my bad no hut tub.

United StatesHousekeeping was subpar. We were there 3 nights and housekeeping services consisted of bringing new towels and emptying the trash. That’s it. Did not make beds. I didn’t expect new sheets but simply making the beds was expected. When we brought it up to a manager, we were told that it was not their “policy” to make beds for stays less than 4 days. There was a card in the room that said the opposite. (Attached). It has been our experience that a made up bed daily is normal practice even in “not so nice” hotels. I shouldn’t have had to push them to get this minimal service.

United StatesRooms are hit and miss. 've been giving perfect rooms, 10/10. I've worked with perfect receptionists, 10/10. Facility is clean, comfortable, they are clearly working on improving the rooms. But when you're given a room with a non-functional shower, that's a big no from me. And when the water in the shower turns scalding hot, and the cold does not work - incredibly dangerous. You're going to kill someone, literally - if they are old and cannot get out of the bathtub in time. I'm serious. You have one maintenance guy. The hot water situation is out of his capabilities. You need to bring in a building engineer. You need more maintenance and cleaning staff. You need to put non-functional rooms out of service. You gave me a discount concerning the scalding water, and moved me to a perfect room. You comped my third night of my recent stay - after I was given a room with a non-functional shower, and was essentially told it was my problem. I won't go into details here. Anna (manager) already knows about that. I'm still... very upset. But I was taken care of. I was taken seriously once Booking stepped in. But you're losing money by upsetting your customers. I won't return, I don't care what you offer me. Read your reviews, sorted by low score. It's not a new problem. You keep making the same mistakes.

United StatesThe sound of train horns every hour or two, all night long. The sink in the bathroom was just a sink, no countertop to set things on. The breakfast was OK, at least scrambled eggs and sausage, but not a lot else, no waffles or biscuits and gravy. The beds were on the stiff side and the whole building looked like it could use some updating. The shower had very little water pressure, to the point of difficulty showering because of it.
Overall it was an OK hotel, but it fell short of our expectations after paying $ 130+ for a supposed premium hotel in a prime downtown spot along the river.

United StatesBreakfast seemed to have been “phoned-in”. They dumped a pile of toaster waffles on a platter, the eggs were powdered, and I’m pretty sure the sausage was microwaved. With such a nice eating area, you’d think they would put a little more effort into the food. We had to pick up breakfast after checking out.
The room was comfortable. It was really nice to be handed a packet at check-in, telling us about surrounding attractions and restaurants. Pool area was clean.
