The room, bedding, and toiletries were all subpar. We were there for three days, and they didn’t make up the room. It feels like this was once a nice place, and now they are resting too much on their laurels. Either that or the owners are more worried about profits than the customer experience. They claim to be a resort but don’t offer much of a resort experience. Other than walking the grounds, I would have had a similar experience at a roadside motel.

The location was great, the spa was good, and the restaurant was mediocre, but the food was affordable, making it easier to appreciate.

The bartender was rude, did not listen to our requests, she was talking bad about us to other staff. The pool was broken and we were not informed in advance.

It was warmer than what we are used to

Property is surrounded by beauty, you can walk/bike trails from the property into Snow Canyon, it's minutes from Tuacahn. The restaurant on the property was good.

We went out to dinner and returned with food to put in a mini fridge. However, it was broken when we talked to the front desk. They said they couldn't do anything about it at the time. Therefore our food Spoiled. We didn't appreciate that. The bed. Slanted to the edge.I was not comfortable in that way.

Not being kept up. There was spilled beer on the pool deck and trash around the walkways. Dinner reservation at 7 and we didn't get our food til 8:30 and it tasted only okay. The room was okay but there was hair in the shower and it just didn't feel very clean. No availability to schedule a pedicure during our stay

The location is beautiful. The pool was pretty nice. The room was comfortable.

    1. The first room that we were given had the A/C mechanicals in a utility room right next to our bedroom. This was unbearably loud, especially when it turned on or off with a loud "clunk." It turns out many of the units, but not all, in this "apart-hotel" have this structure - if you cannot sleep through an air raid, you must insist on NOT having one of these units. (The second night we moved to another unit, where the mechanicals were outside, and this was fine.) 2. We went with the intention on hiking in Zion park. This was too crowded and we had to turn back. We called the hotel and spoke to the "activities" director and asked for recommendations for alternative hikes. She was useless. She spoke to us of the guided hikes the hotels arrange, but could not suggest anything else. We ultimately found some decent hiking in the Snow Canyon state park, which was right next to the hotel, but the "activities" person didn't even know to suggest this. 3. The breakfast at the hotel was very mediocre. We didn't eat any other meals there so no opinion on these. (The next day, we got breakfast at the Feel Love Cafe nearby - this was much, much better.)

The location is great - surrounded by beautiful red cliffs. The rooms are very large, with a kitchen and a large sitting room.
