The room did not live up to the published photos. Heavy Febreeze smell when walking in. Slipcover on the couch. It was a windy day which caused one of the single pane windows to constantly rattle. Faded curtains. Noisy AC. I wondered why there were no photos of the bathroom. Now I know. It is an antiquated piecemeal with a partially clogged shower head and 2 different lightbulbs in the light fixture. The only new thing in the bathroom was the toilet. All else is in dire need of renovation. No floor trim from bathroom to bedroom (exposed gap). My impression was that the owner milks the location as best as possible and only re-invests into the building what is absolutely necessary.

Location. The hotel was easy to reach. The hotel was conveniently located on the Hollywood Broadwalk.

The tiling from the steps to the bottom is the same. In the sun it blends in. It caused me to fall. I did not get checked out but I broke my right pinky finger.

Close to beach, bar/restaurant on site. It wasn’t fancy and is outdated but very clean and homey.

Old and dated. Could be beautiful if they would update the bathroom, flooring (which was peeling up), kitchen and the windows which were hard to see out of and noisy. Also pigeons were nesting in the eves! Dresser, table and other items could have been dusted to at least remove remnant sand from previous renters. Also, bathroom floor had hair on it when we arrived. The management seems more interested in keeping the Tiki bar up due to its probably the main money maker at Riptide.

Location is right on the broadwalk and the bed was clean otherwise we would not have stayed at this property!! Room attendants were helpful if we needed anything.

Room outdated for the price. Parking should be included at this cost. All I wanted was to hear the ocean at night but the windows don’t open at all. It’s right on the boardwalk so you see the ocean but also all the people pass right by your window so you have to keep the curtains closed for privacy but then you can’t enjoy the ocean view Tv is small and hard to watch from bed.

Parking wasn't especially my favorite, but once we learned about the gated area, it was much better. I think parking $5.00 daily, should have benn included in the room rate.

Hotel was good. I would have liked a ground floor, but that wasn't offered. The tiki bar was fun. It was my 50th year class reunion. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

They sprung a $15 per day parking fee on us when we arrived. We had traveled all day and had no energy to move on. Does not say anything about the fee on the website and we had stayed there previously (just 10 days prior) and had not been charged. Front desk staff was really rude.and the place was not cleaned properly. There are lots of choices on Hollywood Beach, and I would never choose this place again.

I don't remember any problems. I didn't see an elevator for 2nd level rooms, but there might be one.

Great location right on the beachwalk. Has its own bar also with view of the beach and walk. Many rooms have a beach view also.
