Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThe desk clerk couldn’t be bothered to try to help. We asked for directions to the performing arts Center. She didn’t know which is okay, but she couldn’t be bothered to try to find out for us. We went to the Steam plant restaurant for supper, then stopped at the desk and asked if she could phone a taxi for us, and she said “we don’t do that??? This was our second time staying there, but we won’t be back, and have already told our friends about it.

United StatesThe noise. This hotel is very close to railroad tracks, and they were very noisy. The hotel did provide earplugs but they were not enough. All night it was train after train after train. There was also police activity near the hotel in the middle of the night with police giving somebody instructions over a loudspeaker twice. The sheet that was on my bed did not fit very well and it kept popping off the corner. TV channels were limited. And there was a surprise $5 parking fee on my invoice.
Room seemed clean. Staff seemed ok.

breakfast was cereal and bagel, instead we chose to eat at the restaurant down the street, owned by the same company, discounted and excellent. the room was very clean and quiet. only a few blocks from the river front and a block out of the downtown district so the parking fee is a lot more reasonable. $15 versus $35, didn't have the extra downtown tax also $40ish

United StatesPaid over $400 for our stay only to be told digital ID could not be accepted upon check in. At this point, a full refund would be expected, instead, we were still charged half despite not ever staying at the hotel. Why is that? We fulfilled our part by paying and showing up. It was the hotel's front desk employee that decided to breach the agreement by not letting us stay. Needless to say, we are extremely unhappy with the way this was handled.

United StatesThe person who checked me in was not friendly or helpful at all. Was abrupt and barely said anything to me. The property was filthy, location was terrible-many homeless, public drug and alcohol use, heavy smell of urine and trash everywhere in the immediate vicinity of the hotels. The room was not very well kept: -Mold on the ceiling in shower -Shower head was cheap and water did not flow well -holes in drywall and ceiling around the smoke alarm -The outside of the fridge had not been cleaned and has dried substance on it as well as food droppings inside. The freezer smelled terrible -Microwave smelled like someone just used it. -Dust covered bedside lamps

CanadaThe area around the hotel is quite sketchy with a number of homeless wandering around. The room did not have enough outlets to charge multiple devices.
The the room was clean and comfortable with great beds, sheets and towels. It is right off the freeway, which is good. The breakfast was more than I expected, with breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc.
