The desk clerk couldn’t be bothered to try to help. We asked for directions to the performing arts Center. She didn’t know which is okay, but she couldn’t be bothered to try to find out for us. We went to the Steam plant restaurant for supper, then stopped at the desk and asked if she could phone a taxi for us, and she said “we don’t do that??? This was our second time staying there, but we won’t be back, and have already told our friends about it.

The area is pretty dicey as far as the homeless people on the streets, but if you are aware of them and are able to avoid them, it's not that bad

The noise. This hotel is very close to railroad tracks, and they were very noisy. The hotel did provide earplugs but they were not enough. All night it was train after train after train. There was also police activity near the hotel in the middle of the night with police giving somebody instructions over a loudspeaker twice. The sheet that was on my bed did not fit very well and it kept popping off the corner. TV channels were limited. And there was a surprise $5 parking fee on my invoice.

The area is a little rough, but we have stayed in worse places.

The location was great, and every member of the staff was outstanding. They were all so helpful and courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Bit of noise from the train tracks but by the 2nd night our hearing had switched off to the sound so no real issue.

Great hotel, central and with plenty of parking at a sensible price. Nice room, lots of space and comfortable. Breakfast was standard. Lovely, welcoming staff.

the exterior of the building is less than inviting, right next to the train tracks and looks run down with murals on the adjoining walls

breakfast was cereal and bagel, instead we chose to eat at the restaurant down the street, owned by the same company, discounted and excellent. the room was very clean and quiet. only a few blocks from the river front and a block out of the downtown district so the parking fee is a lot more reasonable. $15 versus $35, didn't have the extra downtown tax also $40ish

Elevator wasn’t working and was not given advanced notice. There is a cool rooftop outside lounge area that they did not have a working key to get to it.

Paid over $400 for our stay only to be told digital ID could not be accepted upon check in. At this point, a full refund would be expected, instead, we were still charged half despite not ever staying at the hotel. Why is that? We fulfilled our part by paying and showing up. It was the hotel's front desk employee that decided to breach the agreement by not letting us stay. Needless to say, we are extremely unhappy with the way this was handled.

The person who checked me in was not friendly or helpful at all. Was abrupt and barely said anything to me. The property was filthy, location was terrible-many homeless, public drug and alcohol use, heavy smell of urine and trash everywhere in the immediate vicinity of the hotels. The room was not very well kept: -Mold on the ceiling in shower -Shower head was cheap and water did not flow well -holes in drywall and ceiling around the smoke alarm -The outside of the fridge had not been cleaned and has dried substance on it as well as food droppings inside. The freezer smelled terrible -Microwave smelled like someone just used it. -Dust covered bedside lamps

I loved the retro feel of the motor hotel that played up the history of the area. We had a downstairs room and were able to park right outside our door.

The area around the hotel is quite sketchy with a number of homeless wandering around. The room did not have enough outlets to charge multiple devices.

The the room was clean and comfortable with great beds, sheets and towels. It is right off the freeway, which is good. The breakfast was more than I expected, with breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc.

Bed was awful, train rolls thru hourly was wondering why there were ear plugs on the table when you walk in.
