The sweetness of the owners. They take time to chit chat, to give advices and help you, while being busy taking care of the rooms and the little garden behind (great lighting during the night). There is a parking lot in front. The motel has cameras everywhere outside and double locks. If you are a woman travelling alone you are definitely safe over there!

A non skid mat in the shower would have been appreciated.

The room was recently painted, new carpet laid and handicap toilet installed. So it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners were wonderful!

The towels and pillows smelled sour, like they had been overly bleached. The pool wasn’t open, as advertised.

The location was perfect. The setting was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean.

There was nowhere for your bathroom accessories and the shower floor was slippery. On the plus side, There is a hairdryer and coffeemaker in the room.

Location for Joshua Tree park is excellent and there are places to eat and drink within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, there was outdoor space to sit and read in peace. There is pool but it was not open at end April sadly.

The owner/managers wouldn't except my CC because it "is metal & without a number imprinted". It was PREPAID with this card but they couldn't compare numbers. The did refund the room charged using the same card. Glad I moved on.

It's old, but okay. We spent most of our time at the national park so didn't see everything available.

The microwave was very good, as were the fridge and bed. The man was friendly and helpful. The front area looks like a normal motel but out the back it is interestingly quirky. Handy for one of the entrances to the Joshua Tree National Park.

Room was dirty, very dated, outlets were taped over, shower curtain was filthy, walls were dirty, no hook on back of bathroom door- just holes. Carpet was old and worn. Amazingly the bed was comfortable

Safari Motor Inn is a traditional motel. The room was immaculately clean and adequate . It is situated right on the doorstep of the National Park. Within walking distance is the Joshua Tree inn which has an excellent menu, great staff and live music. Above all it was excellent value for money.

It wasn’t spotlessly clean, there were lots of hairs in the shower and some in the fridge. The aircon was noisy. The room is outdated and could do with modernising.

The member of staff who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. The room had a microwave and fridge. Free parking outside the room. The bed was large and comfortable. Fantastic location to Joshua Tree

The owner was just lovely! The property like everything in the desert is worn but oh so comfortable and quaint. The pool is SO nice after a hike at Joshua Tree and at night the courtyard of this place is magical.

I have no complaints honestly!

Right off the main road and close to everything but very quiet! The motel had everything we needed and was very charming and clean! The highlight was how kind and personable the owners are! Plus a pool!! Got everything a more expensive hotel would have for half the price! Will stay here again if i’m ever in Joshua Tree in the future!

Ravi who manages the hotel runs a very professional operation. Very safe place. Very clean. And Ravi is very helpful telling you where all the best places are to see and eat.
