Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel is situated perfectly, beds are really comfortable, the staff is really attentive and kind, however the hotel is super crowded and a bit old so if you plan on a longer stay it could be a bit challenging.

United StatesGreat location. Rooms are very small. Beds are small and super soft like sleeping on a thick kitchen sponge, not comfortable because you sink right in and is you have 2 in the bed then you roll into each other. Ok for the price. They don't actually have parking.. it's a third party garage and costs $90/day.

United StatesThe full size beds were absolutely too small. When we booked I didn’t fully read that these were not queen beds. You just cannot have parents and kids sharing these glorified twin beds. They are nice for a single person but not for 2. Our family was cramped and on the edge of the bed. The rugs are really tattered and the whole place feels dark and in need of some tlc. NYC is an exciting stay but this room just felt like a drag to return to at the end of a day out sightseeing. Bit of a bummer. However our housekeeper was awesome and so accommodating of our jet lag.

United StatesThe fitted sheet did not fit - I think it was a queen or king size sheet on a double bed. The pillows were very lumpy, and the bedside drawer was dusty inside and contained some sort of container to hold soda cans...? Also, there was construction on the foyer so navigating the greatly reduced reception area when it was full of visitors checking in or out was a challenge.
The location was great, and the view over 7th was great.

United KingdomEverything was just a bit dated and the lifts took forever when the hotel was busy. Also the rooms were quite noisie i could hear other people most of the night. I know they are having a refurbishment atm so hopefully these things will be sorted soon.
Value for money, I liked the lounge space and also thought the locations was great.

United StatesThere was not a fridge in the room. I called the front desk and was told there was a $25 fee. I explained it was for medical reasons as I had medications that needed to be refrigerated. They said the manager would call me. Did not hear from anyone. I called again. Was told the manager would call me, again, no call. Had to keep meds in the ice bucket for the duration of the trip.
Great location. Room was very nice. Hotel was very clean.

United StatesThe bed skirt had stain the first night. The sink was dripping and couldn't be turned off. The toilet backed up, but was repaired right away. No refrigerator in room. I would think with all the money that was paid for the room for the 3 nights, making the room feel more like a room with options, it felt like a room with two beds, which it was. This has not been my experience in the past. I was disappointed.

United StatesThe down side are that no WiFi was available and to leave our bags early morning before the check in time was charged☹️ We were already paying for the stay and I thought was an absurd to charge us. Plus what hotel now a days do not offer WiFi for their guests?!

United StatesThe elevators did not work, and the attendant did not know how to assist when the elevators did not work. The bathroom was falling apart. The hotel was busy that weekend and lots of elevators were being used, and then broke. No alternative. Lots of people on floor who were very loud at all hours, but the front desk staff were responsive when we called and asked for someone to assist.
The staff was knowledgeable and responsive at 1am.

United StatesAlot, first of all the room needed major upgrading... Paint was peeling, carpets were dirty, mold in the bathroom on the tiles and the shower curtain. Had to wait in line for one hour after the new year just to enter the hotel again. Not cool, when you are paying $600 a night to stay. Housekeeping came in the mornings and just replaced the towels and took out trash. They never covered the beds or even replaced the soap. I understand it was a busy time of the year, BUT when I am paying $600 a night, I expect these things. Otherwise the stay was comfortable.
Location was great, staff was also really good, lobby was nice and felt safe and the fitness center was also clean. There is a subway 200 feet away from the side entrance, that makes it easy to get on.

IrelandIn the bedroom, found used Corn plasters on the carpet and some other used old plasters. It wasn’t cleaned properly Before we arrived. Long queues for most services. Could do with more staff. Small double beds. Maybe 4foot. Glad to get home to my own.

United StatesThis hotel has gone downhill. It used to be a wonderful place to stay, but now it is not. Apparently it is catering to huge groups that come to conventions, symposia, etc. My bed pillows smelled bad, like sweat, even though the room maid changed the pillow cases. By the way, she was wonderful; her name is Pema (I hope am spelling it correctly). The bathrooms need to be remodeled. The curtains were getting stuck and was hard to pull them up and down.

BrazilThe check in lines are chaotic, giant, and I mean really giant, during the whole day, even the staff says they are overcharged. They also charge a fee for storing luggage, which I think for a hotel with this night fees is a bit excessive. Most of the staff is nice, but some is really rude, when I asked about early check in, one just gave me a short, rude answer. I usually stay at Sheraton in lots of my vacations, but this time it really disappointed me.
The beds are very good

United StatesHotel is dated and in need of and need of an update. Room was small smelled like mold, there was dust everywhere just overall kind of grimy you could hear the people next-door, and the hallways were very very loud at night with slamming doors. Maids didn’t come till late in the afternoon about three or four. Definitely nowhere near four or five star hotel best I would rate it is a three. Very disappointing for a Marriott Bonvoy hotel and definitely not worth 300+ a night.
Location and staff were great
