Close to fire station. Ear plugs on the side table was our first clue. No ice or vending machines. No onsite staff. No nearby restaurants. Stairs to front door so we dragged suitcases up them. No microwave or refrigerator in room. No drawers. Room was warm and stuffy on hot day. The floor of the shower was extremely slippery. It is a safety issue. No shampoo in the shower, there were two body washes.I received our welcome email on the day we checked out. It was sent at the exact time as our folio. The welcome text went to blocked texts so we didn't know the codes. If the welcome email had arrived on time, I would have known to search for it.

The room was tiny and in the basement. The window looked out onto an alleyway with storage cabinets. The bathroom was so small, I kept the door open to have sufficient room to dry myself after my shower. The bathroom floor had a visible shoe print on it when I arrived.

The location is great. The neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and feels safe at night.

Previously, they had a small shared kitchen which was great to prepare breakfast and keep a few things to eat. That was now repurposed for another non-public use and it's not great. Actually it's annoying because I was used to getting a few things for breakfast at Safeway nearby and then prepare it in the hotel. Now that there's just a microwave, a coffee machine and a water machine, it's not wonderful. Maybe add a toaster and a sink?

Things work well and it's great to see how a fully automated version of a hotel works. I really like the support in the chat as they really answer on time and follow up on concerns and questions. I've stayed here several times.

AC is too loud. Room is not that big.

Location was perfect. Easy access to the most touristic places in D.C. if you enjoy walking. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. However, since my room was in the basement floor, it was very cold when I did not turn the AC on. And whenever I turned it on it was very very loud... Check-in and check-out instructions were very easy. My room was very clean.

Bracket on shampoo rack was missing a screw nut so part fell off. Bathroom door didn’t close completely. No fan in bathroom. Air Con was temperamental. Temp was not consistent.

The shower and toilet was in the same place and there were no shower curtains, nothing. So when showering the water was splashing everywhere. The tv remote was not working, and it is not tragical because we do not come to watch tv. However on a rainy day when we had to stay in, it was a problem for us to use tv.

The rooms were a little small. The entrance was not ADA-friendly. There was no staff there to help for emergencies. there is no parking close by. all parking is expensive and far.

Door or building alarm in the front of the building kept going off in the early morning which woke me up many times.

The alarm at the front door kept beeping, for hours, and it was loud in the room. It flashed different messages - once it was a smoke warning in one room, another time something in the staff kitchen area. I get not having staff present at the property - but then you've got to be on top of such things remotely!

Since there are no staff on site, any evenings requests cannot be addressed till the next day. The rooms have little to no room to store clothing (mine had a clothes rack, no drawers or closet). The plumbing was iffy and so was the electrical.
