Too much TRAFFIC NOISE and when I asked the front desk at 5am if I could just get a bed on the other side of the hall thru told me I would need to pack up and take everything with - all I wanted to do was get some sleep and at that hour of the day I was not about to pack everything up to do that (we were at the end of a 6 week road trip in a camper and treated ourself to a hotel to decompress and chill)

My hey charged is twice for our room. I booked through booking, but got charged again when they swiped our card for incidentals. I spoke to 3 different staff members during our stay and all 3 assured me that it would “fall off” afterwards. Needless to say it did not. No one could tell me why we were charged twice which was more frustrating. Finally after calling multiple times almost 2 weeks after our stay one of the staff agreed that we had prepaid and refunded us our money. Pay attention and ask how much you will be charged when they swipe your card for incidentals!!

The room was great and fit our family of 6 comfortably during our stay. The location was a short drive to popular destinations and lots of restaurants nearby.

It’s a little further from the beach but it has many other attractions close by.

I liked that the rooms were clean and the staff was super sweet. Front desk people were great! And cleaning crew does a great job cleaning the rooms! This is my 2nd time staying here and I have not been disappointed. Rooms smell clean when you walk in and breakfast if also good.

I booked this room in error. I had 2 other rooms and called immediately to cancel this one and the property would not refund the charge, even though I had the 2 other rooms and it was obvious I got the dates wrong. Never have I had such a negative experience with a hotel.

We had to change rooms because the t v screen was half Dark and have light. The new Room had Hair in the bed, so we had to go down and get new sheets.

THE POOL SIZE

SIZE OF THE ROOM; THE KIDS LOVED THE POOL BUT IT WAS TOO SMALL; APPRECIATED THAT I FELT SAFE IN THE PARKING LOT, IN THE HOTEL & AROUND THE POOL.

The lady that checked me in was very helpful and nice but the old man that was working needs to be let go. Very poor customer service didn't want to help didn't even seem to want to be there. Pretty much said NO don't want to help and don't waste his time.

beds were a bit stiff. bathroom sink is pretty small.

i liked the salt water pool. The sliding doors to the bathroom, closet and shower were pretty cool.

Excellent and friendly staff. Very accommodating. Super clean rooms, bathroom and kitchen area. Excellent breakfast. I would stay here again any night. We brought 17 Seniors for their Senior Trip and their stay was amazing. Highly recommend.

I wish there would have been vending on site, their truck had not arrived and there were no snacks, and the convenience store next door was extremely expensive.

Traveled with teenaged grandkids for a quick get away few days. The location was perfect! Even though Main Event is right behind the hotel you would never know it. The restaurant selections were awesome, as was the shopping and easy access to 45 for quick drive down to Galveston. I am rethinking my hotel choices when we do go to Galveston for the week!

The breakfast could be a lot better.

The breakfast was bad. A lot of things missing like bread and cereal. Unbelievable.

Breakfast was not up to the standards and could have been much better. Did not expect this from Marriott. All that was served was bread, crispy bacon, eggs and oat meal! Seriously??? There were no waffles, potato wedges, muffins, croissant etc . I’ve seen these being served at Fairfield, Holiday Inn, Hyatt or Westin.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
