How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hallway and the outside and the lobby need some major repairs. The pool is out of order. The continental breakfast could definitely use some TLC. Overall the price we paid was not worth the place.
The inside of the room was nice and updated.

At breakfast, there weren't enough tables to sit down, had to sit in one of the chairs.
My room was accessible for me near the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean with enough towels and washcloths.

Carpets were stained. Furniture was broken. The fridge smelled really bad. Overall the hotel feels dirty. The breakfast was limited to waffles, toast and raisin bran. I wish I would have paid the extra money to stay at the Best Western across the street.

Being lied to.
I am actually very upset right now. I rented a suite with a jetted tub a while back and when I got to the hotel to the lady at the front desk informed me that they did not have a room with a jetted tub. I showed her the pictures from my booking and asked why they would advertise it then she blamed it on the site that I used to book the room. She gave us a room with 2 queen beds in stead for the same price. I. Not sure why she lied maybe she rented the room to someone else before we got there I don't know but I just happened to come crossed someone who said they used to work here and there is a jaccuzzi suite so I rented it and I was shocked to find out that there actually is one here. So many times I booked somewhere else thinking there wasn't one because of what the lady at the front desk said and did. I was so mad to see it I couldn't even stay after I paid I was maybe in the room for a total of 10 minutes before I left and ended up staying crossed the street instead. Horrible horrible customer service I am very disappointed your worker felt the need to lie like that. I feel very diisrespected

Where to even start- the rooms had dirt and dust buildup, we had 2 rooms one of the doors wouldn’t even shut all the way, the comforters didn’t cover the beds, they didn’t match and one had a huge stain. They were dingy and depressing. TERRIBLE! You would be better off staying in your car. I called Booking.com and was on the phone for 30-45 minutes but finally got the room cancelled and went to Best Western which was wonderful and the same price!!!! NEVER GO TO THE SUPER 8 PENDLETON OR.

Not clean. Filthy coffee pot. Bathroom floor dirty. Toilet bowl not clean. Within a few hours of checking in the credit card we used to pay had a fraudulent charge for $45 to "Mentadrill", a company we have never heard of. May not be related.

It was clean and staff were friendly and helpful! It was our stop for the night before heading to the coast and needed a hideaway bed for on of our kids, as the floors were not carpeted. Staff was quick to get us one and bedding.

No parking view of car do asked for room change. Tv sat didnt work so tv didnt work. Horrible continental breakfast. Broken waffle maker and other machine. What a joke. Mismatched bedding. Slimy stuff on door. Broken cabinet for fridge in first room. Would not recommend at all. Loitering in parking lot til early am hours. Finally we saw police come fling in- who knows why but lights flashin g in our bedroom made for sleepless night.
