Wall paint in bathroom (not very well done around fixtures; floor boards a bit rough, etc.). A small point, but wall switch in bedroom for the reading light is on opposite side of the bed (from the light). Main desk wasn’t manned for many hours of the day/night.

Like most baths in motels, needs safety bars when standing. TV was on a side wall and not easy to view from bed. Needs an adjustable bracket so it can turn more towards bed. A table on both sides of bed would be nice. Small things but add to comfort and safety.

Great room, view from windows, huge bath jacuzzi and shower, comfy king bed. Large room. Nice lobby. Elevator is a great benefit. Very clean thruout.

It was quiet and the building was charming.

Only very minor things. Like so many hotels the cleaning staff doesn't report things to the maintenance folks, so they remain unaware of things that need to be "tuned up". In my bathroom the lights over the sink flickered when turned up fully, one of the exhause fans screeched loudly, the TP holder was drooping, and a dimmer switch knob kept falling off. Probably maintenance should check every room every month for such items and require the cleaning staff to report such items. Still I would stay there again without hesitation.

Friendly, helpful staff. Several friendly nearby restaurants. Quaint unspoiled town with a river running through it. America's heartland.

The property is very nice and charming. However room lacks a wardrobe and the bathroom has no shelves or anything you can rest toiletry on. Also a better housekeeping schedule would be desirable.

Tough to get into the shower and you had to be in the shower to turn on and adjust the water. I wasn't sure how to switch it to the handheld shower head without being int the shower and wet. It took a while for someone to come to the front desk. Interesting that the front door locks at 7pm.

Lots of traffic. Windows aren't all that effective in keeping street noise out. Air Conditioning didn't always work well.

Room stunk of air freshener due to an in room pod (i understand in between renters, but it's a little strong for a room where you cant open the windows). Rooms are obviously quite old; less charm more problematic, or at least lack convenient modern entities. The rooms are stuffy but large.

The bed, the tub, the size of the room, complimentary coffee, overall style and well maintained facilities.

The building is over 120 years old so naturally there are a few eccentricities. Our rooms floor not exactly level. But the rooms were clean up to date w modern amenities. The Kohler spa tub was a delight.

Probably a fluke but when I tried to check out Sunday I didn't see anyone at the desk all morning. Had 1 creepy painting i had to take down lol. They do have some cool paintings there though.

Gathering space is right outside of rooms. Other guests were loud early in the morning in this area.

Parking. There were only a few parking spaces next to building. We parked up the street on the next block. I like my car near.

The furnishings were modest. No dresser and not much table space, but good enough.

I found this hotel the day of my stay during AirVenture week in Oshkosh. I felt fortunate to find it on a late booking. I loved the town of Mayville and the rural location. The bathroom and shower were good. The room was large.

Left several messages for early check in by phone and email with only 1 response by email. When I got there to check in no one was there and took a while to reach someone. Paid in advance and then they had me pay when I got there also. Bed was hard as a rock but really liked the room
