It snowed a tiny bit before we got in and the drives were not plowed, so we ended up walking through quite a bit of slush. Additionally, while there was a blow dryer, there was no outlet in the bathroom to use it with and we had to move a dresser to find it. Otherwise it was great though!

The decor is lovely, the mattresses were super comfortable, and we really appreciated the access to the common space and the coffee bar (with snacks!). The barrel sauna was a definite bonus as well. It was easy to access our room, and the check in and check out processes were very simple.

Very clean, tasteful room. Kitchenette was well equipped and we were able To have dinner and breakfast. Great location near cross country (Bear Notch) and downhill Ski areas.

Water pressure in the shower was awful. After a long 6+ hour day of hiking, we wanted showers and the water barely trickled out.

Loved the location and the set up! Room was cute and clean, aside from someone else’s sock and wrapper under the bed.

All interactions between guests and property are through texts. Don’t see host throughout the stay. Guests have to self service themselves to get soaps from storage and shovel snow. The check out time is 10am, but by 9am the driveway is not plowed and door steps are not shoveled. Guests have to shovel snow on their own.

It is a newly renovated motel. Everything in rooms is new and clean. Room is warmer. They provide coffee, water and snacks in living room.

The gas fireplace in our room didn’t work (and no one notified of us about this in advance, even though another option was available when we booked). This was already a downside, and then we lost power, which meant losing all heat sources in December. The shower was TINY!!!!

- The WiFi in our room was extremely unreliable, constantly disconnecting and making it difficult to stay connected. - Water « pressure » was ridiculous, making it very difficult to take a proper shower. - Insufficient storage space, with no shelves or even hooks to hang jackets or other belongings.

The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The accommodation itself is charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean! Very quiet area and nice outside area. The self check in was easy!

The bathroom was very tiny. Price was maybe a little high.

Location was good. Close enough to North Conway to eat there but away from the busyness. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. We did not use the pool or sauna so can’t comment on those. Nor the fire pit as it was raining. Seems like it would be a fun place for a family reunion or large group.

The heat in our room didn’t work and we searched for an hour to find the thermostat. Never found it, staff did not answer the phone and our room was 62 degrees all night. Also the rooms had NO TV nor did it state there was no tv.

There were no staff on site and being the only guests it felt quite soulless. A number of text messages during the stay with requests to pay additional fees including a late checkout fee from 10am to 11am. Felt a little brittle in the communication. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the washbasin had no hot water.

The main lounge was a lovely area to sit and relax. Beautifully decorated. Great tea and coffee facilities and board games to play. Lovely clean bedrooms.

Wifi sucks, took 3 hours to wacth a 1 hour movie. Lost power the 1st night was in complete darkness for about 4 hours no TV, absolutely no internet.

The lighting in the kitchen area needs to be brighter or add some under the shelf above the hot plate. It was hard to see because the overhead light cast a shadow when you are trying to cook. The bathroom, super functional, but a little tight. Maybe replace the chest/drawers with a mirrored vanity area as it was hard to dry hair and put on makeup at the bathroom sink.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Aurora. We stayed in the Sawyer. The rooms exceeded expectations and the bed was super comfy. The fireplace in the bedroom was so cozy and kept us nice and warm. The rooms were nice and clean and the chocolates were a nice treat.
