United StatesThe first hotel room we were given keys to was already occupied 🫢 We had to go back down stairs to get another room. Maybe documentation should be improved somehow? Also, the coffee in the lobby was incredibly weak.

United StatesWhen we first arrived and checked in Mr. Kent did not inform us well. He let us know we can use the car garage and take the elevator vs coming in the lobby if we like but didn’t inform us that it was for loading and unloading only. Which is a nice option to have but some may have chosen the option to just stay parked in the regular parking area without the hassle of having to come back out and re-park their vehicles. Not informing us again occurred during breakfast when we waited & waited for our food. We weren’t in a rush because we were on vacation & figured they just were under staffed and had lots of guests to serve since it seem as the hotel was fully booked. So we decided to call after 2 hours of waiting. When speaking with Helen we found out that they leave the food in the front of your hotel door and sure enough it was in boxes on the floor. It would’ve been nice to have known this information initially during check in. I personally do not like the fact that my food is on the floor no matter if it’s in a small box. The food options are limited and I would have liked it to have been the continental breakfast that is usually served buffet style. There was a lot of construction going on right by the hotel so the nice view was obstructed with all the construction going on. We could hear noise at night that sounded like it was a machine coming from the room beside us. Not sure if it was the heating /ac unit or not but it was heard at night while trying to sleep. The entire location around the hotel needs revitalization.
Breakfast is sent to your room each morning. They have time slot options. Helen accommodated us in switching to a different room when one was available & seemed genuinely happy to assist us. The hotel is in a good location right by the water but the neighboring area looks run down. They have multiple room options. Their 1 and especially 2 bedroom are the best. You can’t go wrong with either. Overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a nice stay by the water.
