The staff is always exceptional...from doormen to cleaning folks to reception (Amrit is a rockstar)...these people are real. Room is perfect and comfy with enough pizazz but not over the top and a true gym that is actually useful. Turning down the blankets at night is a nice touch!

This is a very minor gripe, but I wasn't a huge fan of the shower. It was a bit noisier than expected when starting it up. It didn't impact anything, was just a little confusing at first.

I originally found this hotel when looking for a recommendation for a friend of my wife who was visiting the area. We ended up staying here ourselves and were quite happy with our choice. Location is obviously very convenient, staff were very polite and helpful, and the quality is quite high. Our room also had the best blackout curtains I've ever experienced in a hotel room, which is very appreciated for a finicky sleeper.

Some of the city sounds weren't blocked out as well as I would have hoped. We were on the 7th floor but could hear vagrants (?) shouting to each other down below at 3 AM. Also, beware that the prices are high for any amenities here ... like $7.50 for a cappuccino at the cafe downstairs.

We had an excellent room with very comfortable beds. The lobby is fashionable and inviting, and every single employee was super friendly. This hotel is also in a great location right on Dupont Circle.

loved everything about the property. the location was perfect for a weekend getaway. the Pembrook was convenient and the food, service and ambiance was excellent! We thought the room was well laid out for comfort and if needed work. We would definitely book here again!

The STAFF ... everyone from Valet, to Bellhop ... to General Manager were so engaging, helpful and friendly. By far, the best, superior service I have ever experienced in a Hotel !

The room was stuffy, you could smell the dust, and the windows didn’t open so we couldn’t really air it out. I got really congested from it. Also the shower wouldn’t drain. it was clogged and whatever was in the drain would wash back up. it was pretty disgusting actually. We told the front but no one ever addressed it.

This is a stylish comfortable hotel. The staff is gracious. The rooms are comfortable including a reclining couch next to the window with a view, and a great desk. It’s layout is superb, cozy comfortable lobby with. Fireplace and reading material, a great bar that looks out on to DuPont Circle. Nice restaurants, coffe bar with pastries. A cross the street are other restaurants great shopping a Sunday farmers market. Metro is a small block away. We have stayed there twice in the last 6 months.it feels like a home away from home.

My room had an AC leakage throughout my stay and it wasn’t fixed despite repeated requests. The carpet was wet and the smell was awful especially at night.

Water pressure & temperature in shower was a little under par, but by no means ruined my stay

The cosy atmosphere & amazing welcome on arrival. Bar & restaurant lovely, although mostly business people. Rooms very clean & spacious, robes are the comfiest I've ever worn, I wanted to take them home.
