This was by far one of the cleanest rooms we ever stayed in. The Maid Service was excellent. We arrived about an hour early and the really nice lady at the desk checked us in. Older Motel setting but well worth staying. I rate this Motel more than a 10.

Very nice, family-run, completely refurbished motel. Brand new stylish interior, they also remodeled the bathrooms with tiles on the wall. Very kind, caring manager. Absolutely 10 points!

The only issue we have is if the room is upstairs the stairs are not knee friendly. This time we asked and they changed us to the first floor.

The Inn has no breakfast, but had coffee in room. It’s on Main Street so there is no view. They do have a pool, a screened in area and grill to use. The room was large with king bed, fridge and microwave. Staff is always friendly. This was our 4th year staying here.

I booked the hotel for a long weekend getaway with my wife. We've been coming to Chincoteague for years. The Inn on Main was very reasonably priced and had good ratings on Booking.com so we decided to try it. It's an old school hotel so the room door opened on to the parking lot. The room was nicely updated with a fridge/freezer, backlit mirror and very comfortable queen bed, with two chairs. The TV worked perfectly, which I no longer take for granted. The location was great, just a block from several good restaurants and the downtown shopping area. Everything we wanted to do on the island was within 1 - 1.5 miles. The room was spotlessly clean and had daily maid service. For less than $100/night this can't be beat for an offseason visit.

The only thing that could have been improved on was dusting a bit better as there were cobwebs and a little spider above the curtains at the window and the bed frame/mattress was squeaky when moving which made getting up to use the restroom or readjusting in bed a bit annoying as you may wake your partner if they are asleep. Lastly, since there is a Keurig in the room, a complimentary bottle of water would be awesome so you don't have to use sink water.

I loved the design aesthetic of the room. Very modern and artsy. I also enjoyed the size of the room and amenities that were provided. Lastly, the air conditioning unit was efficient and there seemed to also be some kind of air purifier as well with cool ambient lighting. Oh - and the room included the CUTEST retro Smeg-dupe fridge and microwave set as well as a Keurig.

Only complaint - small bath towels

Room was spacious, clean and modern with all the amenities. Location was convenient. Upon check in got a list of recommended restaurants. There was also an screened outdoor communal area for relaxing and another area with since electric firepit. Lots of special little touches. I would definitely stay here again.

Mattress was soft… my back was a bit sore in morning. Parking was tight but not horrible. Room smell was musty.

Hot water wasn’t good. Eventually got colder yet for the second person taking a shower. About 10 minutes per person. But only 5 minutes of hot water in the beginning. It slowly kept getting colder and colder. Maybe everyone was showering at the same time and it couldn’t keep up. Not a big deal for me. Everything else was great!

Staff was very kind and thoughtful. Easy to talk too and polite individuals. (Missed their names)

Parking was a little tight.

We loved the location within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. We walked to breakfast around the corner and down the street to dinner. We enjoyed the screened pavilion a few mornings and sat by the pool one nice afternoon. We found the hotel to be comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Promptness of the Staff to meet needs as they arose. Our room made up each day as we returned from our day trips to the Ocean. Peaceful gazebo out the door of the room to enjoy a sunrise breakfast to start our day.

The office where you check in looks shabby. I was immediately concerned about what the rooms would look like. I was happily surprised by how darling it was. I would highly recommend this place but beware that the office does not match the rooms.

Parking spaces are narrow so having a smaller narrower automobile would help.

Small boutique motel with a lot of character. Exceptionally friendly staff. Wonderful well landscaped grounds with a variety of seating areas, pool, fire pit & screened grilling area. Clean nicely updated rooms with a touch of retro. Location is very near the entrance to the Island, surrounded by quaint residences and within walking distance to several popular restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops and other stores.
