How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had to pay $12 (in cash only) to store luggage for a few hours. I would expect this from a hostel but not a 3 star hotel. Plus we didn't have any cash on hand so we had to go to an ATM in the hotel, which charged me a $4.99 fee on top of the $3 fee my own bank charged. The shower amenities weren't great - the conditioner wasn't very hydrating and the body wash didn't react well with my sensitive skin (however, the bar soap for hands worked as a fine replacement).
Spacious room and comfortable bed. My partner enjoyed the on-site gym facilities as well. The surrounding neighborhood isn't anything special, but it is an easy walk to the French Quarter and well connected to public transportation to see other parts of the city.

Cost but that’s New Orleans. Also it keeps the rift-raft out. Now I booked the same exact room for approximately $120 less, but was advised a better room was available for additional fee per day, but it was the exact same room. No big deal because I really love the hotel.
Its a hidden gem on Canal Street.

The recliner in the room was filthy. It is in desperate need of a deep clean. I was afraid to even sit any items on it.
It is nice looking and spacious. I loved the double shower heads!!

I wasn't wowed or anything. The furniture had some staining, but that is more of a superficial concern.
Really great location right off of Canal and a 12 minute walk to the Super Dome. Price was excellent for the quality of the stay. Comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower, too.

It was a little far walking distance for restaurants
I liked that you needed a key to enter the elevator and to push a floor button. Very clean modern design and valet was simple.

Very comfortable room with great bed and shower. Nicely decorated hotel. The location was good, a 5-10 minute walk to Bourbon Street area/ Canal Street where lots of shopping was. The staff were friendly. Very clean and felt secure.

I was given an hour for late departure ( positive). However, at earlier time, a non English speaking man knocked loudly at my door and had a very difficult time understanding that I wasn’t leaving yet. Public spaces off if lobby were “overdone decoratively “ and not very user friendly. Never saw anyone using them. Directions/instructions in hallways were lacking ( such as finding the Starbucks) Hallways in guest floors were very long and sterile . Overall impression of hotel was that it lacked”warmth and personality “, looked like it was designed by AI.
Room layout was very strange. Large overall space, but no convenient place to hang clothes. Decoration was minimal. No instructions on how to use shower controls ( a pet peeve of mine).

We were supposed to have a city view and our room looked on to another building and a rooftop. The shower ceiling had water damage. Also on two separate days I was greeted by a homeless person in the lobby area.
