We loved everything about this place and would stay again

The only things we didn't like is that the nest is about a mile from a railroad crossing where the train will blow its whistle when it comes through the city. being a light sleeper, this disrupted my sleep a couple times but it was for a short duration. it's also something you would have to deal with if you stayed anywhere downtown. The owners noted that the frequency of the train was unusually high at this time of year (November )due to coal transport to local power stations. we also found the shower a bit cramped. it could use a shower curtain rod that bows out to give more elbow room, but again another minor detail.

The nest is a very cute apartment that is decorated consistent with its name. all the furnishings were in excellent condition and quite comfortable. it was stocked with everything we needed. the owners were great in communicating with us prior to the trip and we're a pleasure to meet. we would definitely recommend the nest and we'll plan to stay here again.

"Walk to everything" might be tad misleading. It's about 1.5 miles to the middle of downtown, which I don't want to walk, but I guess some people do. But perfect for a bike ride, or any other transportation.

Location was great--restaurants in walking distance and very near freeway for moving about via car. Bed was comfy and shower had plenty of hot water. Host checked to be sure all was well, and used cleaning products that didn't aggravate my allergies.

The only negatives I had were the glade plug-ins, as I am very sensitive to fragrances and the bed was much firmer than I like. However, even with that being said, I would stay there again. Like I said, it was far superior to almost any hotel I have been in and less expensive.

The space was very inviting and much nicer than almost any hotel I have stayed at. The property owners were easy to communicate with and had provided everything you could need, including a toothbrush, toiletries, and shampoo.

Property is VERY WELL presented, all mod cons, easy to find and all you need is provided. The apartment was spotless and high quality fixtures and fittings throughout, owners are very helpful and welcoming- would highly recommend

The ad says "walk to everything"...there was a great deal of places to see within walking distance, but the majority of places highlighted in Huntsville required driving 10 to 15 minutes max. No complaints here!

The apartment was very clean with all the amenities you may need. The price for the room was very affordable and they do not gouge you. It was the cleanest place I have stayed at and if I ever stay in Huntsville again, this is the place for me.

I was not tall enough to sit in the kitchen chairs. Regular chairs would be a help. While the coffee maker was very attractive, it only made one cup at a time. The kitchen cooking utensils were limited. Would really appreciate a grab bar for the step up shower.

Decorated very attractively. Bed was comfortable. Lots of towels and blankets. Loved the punch code door locks and the parking in the driveway. Very comfortable and convenient. Great location to walk to restaurants. Enormous TV.

Located in a residential neighborhood. I felt comfortable, safe, and would definitely go to "the Nest" again when I revisit Huntsville. Pleasant surroundings, owners were prompt and friendly in all communications.
