We had never been to Dubuque, and, had never been to a bed and breakfast. Our anniversary was coming around, so we thought this would make a great weekend trip; true enough! Robert is a great host! Electrical was goofy but that was made known from the beginning. Didn't feel unsafe or anything just had to think about what we could and couldn't run at the same time to prevent popping a fuse or breaker. Would be the same in any other building that old.

Robert was a great host. Bed was comfy. Jet tub was huge. Breakfast was good. It's an awesome place to visit and see. We left relaxed and happy.

The host Robert was very friendly, funny and helpful. Showed us everything we needed to know about the room. Bed was very comfortable. Robert went out of his way to mail us a pair of glasses that we left behind. Wow!

The house is a little worn out and needs some renovation. It was clean and tidy, which was most important to my friend and I. There are antiques that were interesting.

The bed and shower were comfortable after 7 hours of driving. After getting settled in the room, my friend and I walked to supper. We decided on Jimmy John's, but there are many restaurants to choose from on Main St. depending on how much you want to spend. We had a good night's sleep, and at 8 am, Robert had a great breakfast sandwich for us. There was a buffet with fruit salad, pastries, and yogurt. My favorite part of the stay was Robert telling us the history of the house while we had breakfast. I would stay there again.

I’m a little d to have to climb to the third floor However the staff carried our luggage up and that was a big help. Also parking was in a public lot across the street which was a concern to me as the area I live in that would have been unsafe. Overall I would highly recommend this establishment The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff went out of their way to be both helpful and gracious.

The breakfast was outstanding. Similar to a good restaurant.

Enjoyed everything

Robert took excellent care of us. We got to check in early. He gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. Brunch at the hotel was excellent. Everything was fresh.
