The facilities were great and the staff was extremely friendly. The location was close to shopping and restaurants and a short walk to the Gondola. I especially liked the ski valet service so we didn’t have to haul our equipment around

Room was very very noisy from the highway. It would have been nice to have a view of the mountains. Front desk does not communicate well. They do not listen. Boots and skis kept going back & forth from base camp to hotel when they were meant to stay at base camp so that meant waiting for equipment instead of being on the mountain (and getting into cold boots).

Location is great. It's nice having the base camp so close to gondola one. Base camp staff and valet staff were super.

The bar does not open until 5:00pm. To force one to wait that long is uncivilized.

This is a fabulous establishment, as close to flawless as you can get. The Leonora Restaurant and Gambit Bar provide wonderful meals and drinks, all the other resort staff were exceptionally courteous, competent and professional. I made extra demands of the Valet and HK staff and they were totally responsive and timely on every occasion. The location is within easy walking distance to all popular areas and also to the area shuttle stops where the buses connect about every five to ten minutes. Our room was one of the most comfortable we have ever had in four decades of travel, a bed you could almost float in and with spotless furnishings. In fact, the entire resort is so marvelously maintained it appears to be brand new. I would not hesitate to heartily recommend the Sebastian to anyone headed to Vail.

Rooms are dated. Pillows are uncomfortable . Room is very dark. Very little natural light.

Base camp location is great. Nice coffee machine in lobby.

I booked the room for 3 people and it was only made up for 2, but reception put that straight immediately.

When we pulled up, we were greeted by genuine customer service, and that was the same throughout the trip. The location is perfect to venture into Vail and the views from the hot tub are incredible. The bedrooms are a good size with great amenities and if you need any additional coffee or waters, the reception had them for free 24/7. We stopped by the cocktail bar for a cocktail and wine and the quality of the drinks was second to none. There was also some good drink offers on. I will be returning for sure!

Spacious, comfortable room. Coffee pot would not, plus it’s a cappuccino. A Keurig would be nice, with regular or decaf choice.

55 dollars parking fee per 1 night. We stayed 2 nights so 110 dollars seemed to be a lot to pay for parking. There is no free breakfast. Overall everything was great but there was a forgotten pretzel in the corner of our room and some forgotten stuff in the fridge.

The pool and jacuzzis are the reason why we chose this hotel as we were traveling with our kids. The pool is the amazing and warm. Gaming room was for free and the kids loved it. Our double queen room was nice and comfy. Free cofee machine in the lobby was a plus.

The fridge in the room made a beeping noise, forcing me to disconnect it in the middle of the night, in orser to be able to fall asleep again (room 423). The poll area need a deep cleaning of floors, cushions, etc. It was not upto the hotel's standard of all other areas.

Very elegant and nice hotel with outstanding service level, coming straight from the employee's hearts. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy.

Cheap materials in guest room. The shower curtain wad the same one I got at bed bath beyond and not acceptable for a high end property. The hotel is a labyrinth inside and very poorly laid out. No place to grab a quick coffee and muffin. Very limited and poor services and not a good value for the price.

The Gambit has a great vibe.

Too many children screaming at the pool and parents not watching/paying attention to them. Difficult to have a nice relaxing day to check out from work and the real world to be surrounded by screaming children who are spitting up in the pool.

Great location; walking distance to the village. The property is nicely decorated and had a nice ambiance.
