we accidnetally locked ourselves out of the room one day as the door closed and the extra lock/bolt that flips open on the inside flipped open as our door closed and we had to have maintenance help us get in. Kind of a design flaw.

We have stayed at the Union Hotel several times while visiting our daughter at Purdue. The location is amazing, the staff is great, the hotel is lovely. I'm sad she will not be returing to Purdue next year.

It was a bit noisy at night due to surrounding buildings and cars. That was fixed getting an interior room.

Because of the timing, it was really expensive. Since we were coming from abroad, and it was our first time, we had to choose a place as close as possible. But it was really expensive. And also, while staying and chatting at the lobby, there was only cold water to offer. We had to go to the other building to buy some coffee and tea for our guests and ourselves.

We have come to drop off our child to college. The location is great, we walked everywhere. The hotel is clean.

The refrigerator is so small. It can probably only put less than 5 bottles of water in it.

The front desk staff is so great. They are so patient to answer my question. I am not American and I have spoke bad englisg. They are no nice.

I tried booking on their own site - two options, room with breakfast rate and room without breakfast rate. Both showed available so I booked the one without breakfast, then it rejected my request saying it’s not available. I called the union club and they said it’s not available. I asked ‘but the room is available if I pick the breakfast rate?’ They said yes. I said well can you assure me I’ll have a vegan option? They said no. I said then I would like the room without the rate. They said it’s not available. I said ‘don’t use that term ‘not avaialbe’ because it is you just want let me purchase the room without breakfast.’ They said that’s correct. I said ‘then I’m not booking and leaving a bad review’ - I went to booking.com and was able to book without the breakfast rate. So dumb. Thank you booking.com

The space is gorgeous and incredibly well located. Everything was spotless clean and the whole staff was amazing, kind, and made our stay a thousand times better. The room was super clean and spacious and they make you feel really welcome. Everything was taken care of down to the very last detail. And the bed? OMG THE BED. It was like a warm cloud hugging you in the middle of winter. You need to try that bed at least once in your life.
