The carpet was so embedded in dirt and grime that my the socks we wore inside the place had to be thrown out. My daugher had allergy and that required medication. I tried to reach the manager Hernandez (e-mail, custimer service and so) but there is absolute no reply from the property. The recepcionist also said nothing could be done. Also, we checked out 18 days ago and still have not received my deposit back. I strongly do not recommend Calypso Vacations because it would not pass any cleaning standards whatsoever.

The complete kitchen, with stove and dishwasher. We cooked dinner and the apartament has all the basic utensils.

The location for us was great, we in Orlando for a soccer tournament all the locations was closer from us!! The person who is doing the maintenance was very friendly we miss saying goodbye on our last day of our stay!

The sound proofing is horrible. People up at all hours slamming doors, screaming, you could hear any little thing that was going on in the floor above you and we were a group taking up over 12 villas all in different buildings on different floors and the review is the same. They really need to improve the sound proof quality of the flooring and walls. My one bedroom you could literally hear people going up and down the stairs and as the stepped on the stairs it SHOOK THE HEADBOARD! Horrible sleeping experience. I woke up every 30/45 mins to someone walking up the stairs or closing their doors. Absolutely ridiculous.

The pool area was nice although the slides could use major lighting by the slides, even some twinkling lights in the trees. At 6:30 it was pitch black and it wasn’t exactly safe for them to play on even though it was technically open.

Upon arrival we were informed about a deposit. However when booking the property there is no mentioning of a required deposit. I do believe this is very misleading. I was expressing my concern with a staff member and she basically told me we were informed in the confirmation email. You should inform of deposit details before reserving a room not once a reservation is booked. The elevator in building 5002 was constantly malfunctioning. The control panel also had multiple screws missing which I feel may have contributed to the delays with the elevator. Picture included. You had to press the number multiple times before it would process. The furniture was also outdated. Definitely thought it would be a better experience from reading previous reviews.

The property appeared to be well maintained when we arrived.

Carmen the manager was amazing!! I had a problem with my villa but Ms Carmen made it all better. Thanks a bunch Carmen. Also the pool guy is awesome. He's always out getting the pool ready before 6am. My husband and I are over 50 so we good to bed early and wake up around 5 or 6am. I have to be at work by 7am because I am a registered nurse and he's a retired physician. People are sick no matter the time. But again thanks Carmen and we will see you again on June 2,2024

It started on the bad track because the room that was in the advertisement is not the room that I paid for made several complaints for several days starting within 15 minutes of being on the property. This was in the room that I paid for on the third day after being lied to several several times blowing me off. Give me check in later third morning I want to front desk I’m genius three member extremely rude maintenance guy extremely rude front desk, lady.. Extremely rude front desk department during dayshift. I should’ve been upgraded rooms because being a genius 3 member but after I reminded them that I still hadn’t received my refund from the last time I was there and I was there when apparently they Must Be known for this because there were friendly protests there against the property while I was trying to correct the situation but like the protesters said they were Liers !!! I had to leave the place and I was replaced the money by booking for the time difference but I am still waiting on my Incidental deposit to be returned. It’s about $300 between the two.

Floors were obviously not cleaned well I found a piece of broken glass with my bare foot. We think we may have found someone else’s cum in the bathtub after running the jets we didn’t use it a second time during our stay. It just really didn’t feel like they’ve been well cleaned for some time.

We left early because it was impossible to enjoy our vacation at this place. Everything was extremely dirty. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Cleaning people would start listening to loud music at 7 am and speaking extremely loud near your windows. Everything is not functioning, literally everything. We got a villa with no curtains, broken coffee maker, no soap, dirty furniture etc. I started my vacation by running to Walmart and getting cleaning supplies, then cleaning and washing towels, dishes, floors, toilets. DISGUSTING.

The hotel was very spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The room was very clean, staff was great and the amenities were great for everyone.

When we were checking in there were no luggage carts available as they were all being used. I don't think the hotel had quite enough to go around but after a couple trips of back and forth... we were all settled in and everything was great. Elevators to rooms were a lifesaver and much appreciated. Lol

Room was great, amenities were perfect, my friend and I were very comfortable in the room and very convenient as far as attractions in the city.

Calypso was a last-minute decision for our wedding anniversary. It was the best decision we made. Beautiful place and welcoming staff. Our unit was spacious and clean, very comfortable. We will definitely visit this vacation home again.

The resort has a disgusting smell , disgusting! I couldn't sleep at night because of the small , I wasn't offered another room by the reception. The washer and dryer were broken. We had to go dry our clothes in another room and that one smelled the same, disgusting. The bathroom tiles were broken and there were cracks everywhere, I will never go to this resort again in my life.

The style of the resort, My husband and I had to take stairs to our resort being on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn’t working and out of service so carrying 3-4 luggages up the stairs wasn’t quite pleasant, not being given accurate description of directions to locate the room, a/c not working properly, when you’re walking on the floor in the room it’s like you’re stomping made me feel like I was a giant. Being told my husband and I could attend an event and if we did a “late check-out” we would qualify for that promotion of receiving a special gift which never got a respond or call back from. Also, prior to getting our room, I was told the room was going to be ready in 20 minutes ended up being about an hour and 15 minutes so be aware.

My husband and I ended up liking the fact the resort was a 1 bedroom villa where you could cook in the kitchen and have a living room area similar to an house. The fact we were nearby other food areas and attractions were 5-8 minutes away. On site security on patrol car provided sense of being safe. The big tv in the living room was a plus +
