We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United StatesOur room for the weekend was on the pool floor. Music blasted the pool area all the time, making conversation impossible. After hours, Guests next to the pool had loud music to 3am & no staff answered repeated calls for intervention. Only in the morning did staff respond and arranged a move to a different floor.
The location is central, with restaurants around.

United StatesDid you ever have a hotel room with NO WINDOW ? No drinking cups or glassware, no television instructions (we couldn't get it to broadcast ANYTHING), no local guide. After waiting 30 min for a approved change to an ADA room across the hall, we went to get the new key THAT is when we were informed there would be an upcharge ! No apologies for a "misunderstanding", no concern. We paid almost $225 including parking for for our worst hotel experience/room ever.
Location is the ONLY reason to stay here.

United StatesWe were awaken at around 3:30 a.m. by rude guests right above us who were rowdy and loud upon entering at that ungodly hour. They kept us awake until 4:45 a.m. We were furious, not to mention exhausted :-/. Complained to desk clerk in the morning and were told there was a wedding party there. Regardless, security should have stepped in to quiet them down. Coffee service supposed to start at 7 a.m., but the person who was responsible didn't show up that morning, so after a sleepless night, no caffeine jolt. Also, although there were 2 bottled waters in the room, there were no paper or plastic cups, nor was there a coffee maker.
Have stayed here several times before and like the central location. Pool and pool bar have a fun vibe.

United Statesproperty was ok, however, there was no notification that you had to request for the rooms to be cleaned. I found out when returning to the room, trash was still in the garbage, bed not made and bathroom not cleaned. calling to the receptionist area, was awful! my calls went to voicemail?? on several occasions. Air condition was not working properly… two maintenance works attempt to fix. I was advised that “ really hot outside, sometime air does not work”??? what?? summertime in NC no air operating properly. attempts to have the duration of my stay removed from my card so that I could transfer to another hotel, was told, would take maybe 48 hours for the funds to be returned, with a penalty I would be responsible to pay for leaving earlier than planned. never again shall I stay at this hotel

United StatesWe booked a king room, but they didn’t have any left when we arrived and so we ended up with a queen—we would have chosen a different hotel if we knew this in advance. Room was loud at night. No cups for water. One side of the bed had no nightstand/plug. No sheets on bed (just comforter).

United StatesThe problems began with trying to find the drop off point for our luggage. The hotel didn’t give directions on where to park so we could safely unload our car. If you reserve an “inside room” be prepared…..no windows, sort of like camping in a cave. Not what I expected for the amount they charge. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a room with windows. It was a ADA room. Be prepared to have the entire bathroom floor flooded if using the shower. Also, the thermostat was “locked” so the temperature could only be adjusted for 2 hour intervals. Never had seen this in my years of traveling. The room had NO drinking glasses, glass or plastic. I called customer service, they said they would send some up. 30 minutes later, no cups. I asked the cleaning service, who’s was across the hallway from us, if they had any cups….no but they would get us some. 5 minutes later we had the cups. Every explanation of the hotel’s problems was answered with one word… Covid!, I have traveled several times across this country, stayed in numerous hotels and never had a room stripped of nearly every comfort item due to a virus! Perhaps these regulations are generated by city ordinances, I’m not sure. But, one thing I am sure of, Durham will lose the opportunity to host many guests if this truly is the explanation for how the cities hotels are operated.
