Great location and ambience. The hotel is right at the place where locals live, dine, play, shop. Here and around is the place you'll feel the real New York. Recommend staying here to feel as a real New Yorker.

The hotel vibe was so cool. I felt young, dymanic but also felt so warm and friendly, like home. Especially when I am with my PC in the lobby, I felt like working from home. Strongly recommend young people who are looking for opportunities in NYC should stay here in Untiled 3 Freeman Alley. You will love the vibe, the ally, the room and the staff!

It’s too bad the rooftop bar isn’t open every evening. It would be nice if it were open just to hang out for the view, even if they didn’t have the actual bar open.

Love the location and the vibe. Our rooms have always been really clean. The complimentary espresso and pastry (fresh backed croissants) are delicious. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Whole Foods is walking distance. Our first room had a queen size bed and the room was snug but still very comfortable and with a private but small bathroom (stall shower). On our second visit, we had a king size bed and a full size bathroom (stall shower). This room was a bit larger and had a balcony that one could sit in. Beds were comfy. Both were really nice.

no hair conditioner in room. The shared facilities on each floor were basically all missing except for the water. so if you wanted to use an ironing board or get a coffee kettle, you didn’t have one. The coffee shop on the ground floor appeared to be only open in the morning at breakfast so if you wanted a coffee after that, you had to go out somewhere else. The view from my room was a brick wall and for the price point somewhere like CitizenM, for example, is cheaper, but you have often panoramic views of the city from your room.

Amazing location, everything just around the corner and still very quiet at night. Rooftop bar really nice, breakfast is one pastry and one coffee per person until 11h. Will stay here again.

The gym was extremely small. You could hardly fit one person in there.

The hotel is exceptionally clean. The coffee bar and pastries were delicious and a nice touch. Great location.

The entry through the alley might no be for everyone alhough we didi not mind it.

Breakfast was a simple but tasty pastry. Coffe was good. There arent many ammenities but I was not expecting any, great value for the price.

Usb sockets didn't work, was told they didn't in any of the rooms and there's no way to fix it. (At least that night)

It's unusual looking but it's clearly intentional, and for people who enjoy that sort of experience it's great for sure! All the amenities are in good condition, breakfast included was also a nice perk.

The bathroom door has a tendency to swing open. Maybe some magnets to hold it closed?

Possibly our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in. Loved the style and design of the small rooms to maximize space. Great location near the Tenement Museum. Good coffee at breakfast (and we're picky about good coffee). Will absolutely recommend this place and stay here again.

The staff does not give the impression that they are willing to help. It gives more of a feeling that addressing them bothers them. In the future, I recommend smiling and greeting guests in a pleasant manner.

Wish you could have just a light for the bathroom and be able to turn on a little light by the bed. Did not like all lights had to be on or off. No ice maker on the floors. Could have a few more places to hang towels etc.

Loved all of it

This property is a gem! All updated and modern with some amenities 5 star hotels don’t have. The decor is great, it’s very clean and actually cozy to sit and work, or read or socialize in the community room downstairs. The rooms are highly functional, clean and comfortable. I will be returning, again and again!

The staff were all very cool and friendly. Check-in was smooth and easy. The room, while tight quarters, was clean and modern. The morning coffee / pastry offering was a really nice and welcome surprise.

Last time I had a better room and my window looked outside, it felt very dark with no daylight. My window was onto a brick wall.
