Entrance light didn’t come on automatically

Well kept, cozy ( fireplace in the living room).The bedroom was spacious and has a lovely bathroom with great smelling towels.

When we arrived there were no instructions on wwhich was our room and how to open the door to our bedroom. We had to contact the owner by SMX since she was out of the country. The bedroom no accommodations for luggage, the towels were stained, the bed was round and my feet fell off, and the house was kept at a 67 degrees for the preference of one long term guest. It was COLD, we located an extra blanket in the closet. The other longterm resident, Erica was pleasant and helpful. We wouldn’t go back.

If you are not used to Airbnb then you probably would be a little taken aback at the home feel, almost feels like you are invading a family's space but you never see the family.

The property was wonderful. The house inside was clean and wonderfully appointed. It seemed like a home and not a hotel; it was extremely quiet, and the TV in the room was gigantic. The tub was out of this world.

It was a little awkward getting to the house and finding another surprised guest staying there. The room itself was private, and there was a security code for the bedroom door, so I felt safe, but it was awkward.

The property was super clean and comfortable. the bathtub was fantastic!

Check in was a little rough. Complete instructions for room door entry were not provided and it took awhile to get what we needed.

Awesome bath and decor. Felt secure and safe. Awesome food, bars and shopping near by.

I wasn't sure if we had use of the entire residence, or if it was just the room. Specifically, were there other guests and the downstairs was a common area, or were we the only guests in the host's residence? If it's the former, then you should market the backyard and other amenities! If it's the later, discuss the limitations once they've booked (you can cook in the kitchen, but please use only the food which you've bought, etc.). The only recommendation I'd make for improvement (and it was acceptable) is the bed and pillows.

The actual room where we stayed was incredible. It was much larger than a hotel room, with a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom (with a large, walk-in shower). There were ample amenities, including body wash and shampoo; bath robes were even provided. The entire residence was very clean.

I tend to read quickly, so I might have missed the details. I didn’t realized it is renting a shared home. That said, I still felt like I had my privacy while there and had everything that I needed for a comfortable and very pleasant stay. Jenny was great at communicating and very kind. I would return when I am next in Portland.

Great location and home. Jenny and staff were super friendly and accommodating. The place had everything I needed, including a chemex, which was awesome. I always value a clean place with a kind owner, where you can tell they go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. That came across in all the details here, and it made for a great stay.

The bed in the master bedroom where we stayed was much softer than we were used to (we have king extra firm memory foam at home) and a bit small for the two of us (full size?), and the pillows were either flat (too soft) or really firm (fine for a lower back pillow while sitting up but wouldn't use to sleep on). The duvet was probably too warm for the time of year, so we turned down the thermostat to 66 and it was alright. Be mindful that it affects heat/cooling for whole house, but that's to be expected for a house BnB type experience vice independent AC unit per room. Maybe a ceiling or box fan would help. Overall a minor issue that did not really detract from our stay!

Beautiful house, felt at home and close enough to downtown without being too closed in. Street parking is fine when the driveway is occupied (fits one car otherwise one would be blocked in). The master bedroom is cute and has tons of natural light. Love the private bathroom with separate shower and deep tub! There's a walk in closet also. Wow. Living area downstairs inviting to mingle with other guests if you like. Cleanliness was great and we were not missing anything.
