Nothing, it suited all our needs and was better priced than anywhere in the valley.

Easy check in, lovely staff and the facilities were clean. Showers and bathrooms well maintained and came with soap. Tent cabin was basic but just what we needed and came with aircon. 50min drive to the park, great restaurant on site with great fresh food and changing menu.

The café opens at 7 which is a little late for coffee and breakfast if you want to do for example the four mile trail or any other of the harder ones in Yosemite.

Clean dorm and friendly staff. Safe and calm.

Rather hilly with lots of stairs to get to many rooms.

Describing the resort as rustic is right on. The room is eclectically decorated in a great way. Comfortable bed, well air conditioned. Really enjoyed the restaurant. Excellent food with a rustic lodge feel.

It’s a decent budget option in close proximity to the park but I would look to stay in the park next time as the drive there and back can make for an extremely long day. If in a dorm bring your headphones/earplugs and eye mask as the rooms are quite small and with the attached bathroom there can be a lot of disturbance during the night.

I stayed in a 6 bed dorm with bathroom attached. It was comfortable and the bathroom clean. It had toiletries included which was nice. The property itself is in a nice setting and the cafe was great for a beer at the end of the day.

We couldn’t get an early breakfast at the restaurant, so if you want to visit Yosemite early you have to buy it yourself.

The location and the space we had, it was a big cabin! Clean. It’s nice to have a good restaurant there as well!

Overpriced for a room that is more like a cabin but everywhere in the area seems very expensive in July. No coffee machine in the room but there is a small fridge.

The deluxe room was a lot better on the inside than outside - comfortable bed, charming furnishings (old typewriter, riding saddle), good air-conditioning. The June Bug cafe was open late and served ok cafeteria-style food. Not much else nearby so it was essential after a long day in the park. It caters well for walkers/hikers. Laundry on site which was useful as we are travelling for 3 weeks. About 45 min drive to the park entrance and an hour to the stunning Yosemite Valley. We had to queue to enter the park one morning for around 40 mins but it was quick on the other two days.

We visited this place in the summer, so it was unbearably hot and our tent was in the pure sun for most of the day. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work properly so you couldn't stay in the tent from 9/10am until 8/9pm. However, as we always left early and arrived late, this wasn't a problem and it cooled down at night, so it was fine.

It is a super cool location! Close to Yosemite Nationalpark! It has a bit of hostel/camp vibes with all the different cabins and tents! The staff is very friendly! The kitchen is very clean and well equipped! They have a restaurant which serves a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner (also vegetarian options) and super cool desserts!

For the last day and half of my stay there was no electricity/wifi due to a big fire in nearby Mariposa which wasn’t ideal as I had to plan my route to Tahoe the next day. Communication around that could have been better as one member of staff said they hadn’t heard anything since the morning from the power company and yet a girl I shared a dorm with was told it would come back on at 8pm. Indeed it was 8pm!

Only 45 mins to get to the visitors centre in Yosemite, which was great. On site cafe was useful to have as no local shops. Friendly staff. Lovely surroundings.

Not enough lockers. The number of lockers was less than the beds in the dorm. Had no power socket for the upper bunk bed.

Good location, about an hour from Yosemite park. Reasonably priced. Fairly clean.

We had to stay there during the power outage which also meant no water. It was quite uncomfortable but it was no way in anyone's control - some back up could have helped.

Communion about power outages that week could have been better so that we could rearrange most suitable accommodation.

The beds were very comfortable. The highlight of the resort is the cafe. The dinner and breakfast were both wonderful, great value for money for the meals.

beds weren't so comfortable It looks like parking spots are quite limited in number about 45 minutes drive from Yosemite, it's not that bad but keep in mind to avoid traffic/driving in dark kitchen refrigerator is shared, someone took some of our food although labeled!

we had a long drive and were able to check in late (11pm) place is well organized, with equipped kitchen, looks like it has nice facilities, although we didn't use them. (spa, fire pit) The nearby Cafe has nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and had ac, warm water in shower.

Restaurant was exceptional, in my view. I tried a number of vegetarian options, and they were great. Facilities were very clean. The resort is a 10 min walk for the YARTS bus station, which is very convenient if you don't have a car with you. I recommend. P.S. I stayed in a 6-person dorm for 2 nights.

Dust and cobwebs on many surfaces that could use a wipe down. The stairs from steep level to level traversing could also use a sweeping. For bladder control compromised folks renting a tent cabin, the single bathroom can be a hike. There was another shower/bath location that had multiple such compartments, but it was even further up hill. Planning is essential, particularly if you are mobility impaired and cursed with a smallish bladder or IBS.

Price of accommodation that is so close to Yosemite and Merced river was excellent. Our full sized bed was comfortable and clean. Our tent cabin (plywood walls and roof with tarp pulled over it) was clean with just 1 spider web friend in the corner. Remember the word 'rustic' in their title and you'll be fine. Food at the cafe was really good if you are willing to pay the high prices. There is a clean communal kitchen that we did not use other than for the fridge and dry storage of chips.
