We didn’t had light for all night. They ran out of power , it got difficult after midnight and freezing inside the cabin. Somehow we managed to survive

The area was very peaceful and nice nature views

Not too much parking and lack of activities however was visiting during off peak time.

Great value for money, and close to Yosemite National Park. Restaurant food was tasty and plentiful.

We enjoyed the unique experience of this location. The spa cost is extra but the granola is yum.

The room construction is "lightweight", which meant the rooms were quite noisy, ie. we could hear movement in our adjacent room. The spa cost was advised upon arrival to be US$20 per person, which was a turn-off.

The room heating was warm and cosy for the cool December nights. The granola option for breakfast was great. Spacious and welcoming and warm dining hall. The tall trees and the sloping built environment was unique.

This place was super cute! I got the tent cabin, it was a great spot for a very reasonable price. I love how close it was to the park entrance. The food & drinks were great as well :)

In the tent cabins we stayed in there is one bathroom nearby with only one stall. Makes things a little tricky at times. There are four cabins to share the one bathroom.

Love the place, been coming here for years. While the prices have increased, it's still a great value and the restaurant is excellent.

The room was really cold at night and the AC was really noisy so we couldn’t leave it on during the night. Old room decor, with carpeted floors, but I guess it goes with the rustic air of the place.

Decently close to Yosemite entrance, the hotel has a really cool dining room with wooden walls and quirky decoration and a fireplace where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner and just relax and hang out. We stayed in a private room and the beds was comfortable and clean. Nice shower pressure. Good price!

They told me me to park far away on a cliff and I had to carry my luggage up and down the road for a long distance.

I stayed in a tent, but it was great, the beds are comfortable, soft, in the room is warm. The view is amazing and the whole place is overall quiet. The food at the restaurant is well priced and really tasty and the portions are big.

Good price, 1h from Yosemite, Bed very confortante and hot shower.

I was with a handicapped person and LUCKILY we were in a unit that was not high up…as it was, it was a bit hard for her to get around.

How rustic…yet clean and very comfortable. Blends nicely into nature! Also…great restaurant 🤗

Power sockets could have more comfortable locations close to all beds, in particular upper bunk beds. And the lockers could be in slightly better conditions.

My 12 bed-room had its own bathroom with 2 showers with hot water, 2 toilets and 2 sinks, which makes it very convenient while sharing the facilities. Not only you don't need to leave the room but it's less likely that you need to wait to use it. It's also nice to have a fully operational restaurant as well as a supplied kitchen with large fridges.

The restaurant was great. I knew that there were steps, but there were more than I expected. Not sure I would have liked it as much if I needed to use a/c or heater. Front staff extremely helpful and patient, especially b/c, for some reason, I needed front staff to make my WiFi work, so it wasn't perfect. Appreciated the guest kitchen.

My bed was really uncomfortable, there was a massive hole in the mattress. I tried and asked to change beds but it wasn't possible as all others in the room were expected to be taken. Obviously as the name indicates, it is rustic and I wasn't expecting a 5-star experience, but also the locker was all deformed and I was slightly disappointed by the overall atmosphere and lack of some 'warmth' between travelers as I'm used to in other parts of the world maybe.

Overall, the hostel is well organised and the restaurant at the center is very good to have.

I always stay here when I visit Yosemite. This is my goto. You can choose cottages if you are on a spurge or dorms if on a budget. My friends and I had a comfortable stay. Great food menu in their Cafe and lovely resort like surroundings.

Some of the hooks in the bathroom was missing so you had no where to hang your clothes when showering. I didn’t like the fact there are no curtains on the bed to give extra privacy when sleeping. I don’t like the overflow car park being at the top of a steep hill

I liked the rural location of the property and the fact the wifi works in most places on the site.
